it was a pitch he and several writers made a while back at DC, to modernise superman and bring him into the 21st century... unfortunately the editor didnt take kindly to it, so it was never used...
after what he did with x-men, i don't want him making any more superhero movies, but thats just me...
Although I thought Superman Returns was a good movie, I thought it was terrible SUPERMAN movie. A movie with Mark Millar writing sounds awesome. I always thought that BIRTHRight would make a badass movie
hmmm. how did he say he was going to modernize supes? sorry about all the questions, but supes is my fav character and i just want to be up to date on whats going on with his new movie.
Soooo he's not that great at doing films with multiple characters, The Superman films should be easy for him then and top if off he is a fan of the character
Also was'nt the reason with superman returns not doing as good as it should have was because had hardly any action it and that was because singer did it as a tribute to its origins
So he should be given another chance because from what i've read he is or "was" planning on doing the next superman film the way it should be with plenty of action, good story etc.
Reading that you realize how little Singer did with his opportunity in Returns.
I especially liked the ideas on the Fortress of Solitude being the ultimate pad/lab/gym/playground for Superman. Being filled with artifacts relics and wonders from the worlds history and the wider universe. It is a shame, especially when you know there are better candidates. Singer let everyone down.
