Yeah in the comics The Deep doesn't do to Starlight what he did to her in the tv show. In fact in the comics it is [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Homelander, A-Train, and Black Noir that do it.

One thing I'm not liking is people who admit to loving the new season so far reviewing bombing it on Prime because they don't like the release schedule.
I admit I don't like it either. I see no real reason for it. Any ad you might see before the episode begins you will see whether you binge all the episodes in 1 day or if they are spread out. Creatively speaking perhaps those behind the show want to build up some anticipation for later episodes.
That said, don't review bomb it.
