Ridley Scott has officially moved onto Park Avenue. The helmer will direct Universal Pictures' bigscreen version of Hasbro's Monopoly board game from a script by Pamela Pettler.
"Monopoly" is set up at Universal Pictures, which has a first-look deal with Hasbro to develop movies based on the company's line of toys. Those include "Ouija," which Platinum Dunes is developing, and "Battleship."

This is the dumbest idea for anything I have ever heard of in my entire life. This isn't clue, you can't just make it into a movie. I'm sorry to Ridley Scott that his career has gone so far down hill that he is forced to take on things that make no sense. You might as well make a connect four movie. You know what.... make a candy land movie so that people on acid everywhere will sneak into the theater tripping to see pretty colors. Really.... Ouija.... Think about that. What it should spell out is WOW THIS IS A DUMB ****ING IDEA. Like for real, these are games that give people hours of entertainment. If your really out of movie ideas just make Alone in the Dark 2: back in the dark and when you make eight dollars off that for buying one copy feel really good about yourself you piece of shit *******.
