If the terminators of a particular product line all looked like Arnold, then why aren't people prepared to accept that a new terminator may be introduced and with the possibility that he/she won't be from the same product line; and will therefore look different.

the Arnold from T1, T2, T3 are from the future of which the T4 movie is based!!! if there were new sets of terminators in T4 then... the terminators in T1, T2, T3 are from when in the said "future"? T4 is i think already "that" future! remember, the Arnolds from T1, T2 and T3 came from the future of which the upcoming movie T4 is getting at. I WANT ARNOLD!!!!

A point WAS made, in which arnold is a T-800 model 101... the reason why other T-800 terminators don't look like him (ex: The Sarah Connor Cronicles, the infiltrator from the future hideout in Terminator 1) is because they are the same series (T-800), but different model number (101, 102, 103, etc). More than likely, that's how it would be solved without arnold... any "Future" is possible, as Kyle Reese himself once said. I'd love to see arnold in the flick myself, but I'll still keep an open mind and see it... especially since Christian Bale is a GOOD actor... as long as the movie doesn't turn out like Terminator 3 (shudder)

The people who are making this movie suck because they arn't going to have arnold in it. They must be out of thier mind if their is not even a scene with him in it, you know in T3 Arnold (terminator) tells conor that he kills him in the future because of his past experiances with his model number. so Arnie has to be in at least another Terminator if not a scene in T4

How can arnold kill john conner if he isn't in the movie? however, that happens after the war. mb arnold will be in the end of the trilogy afterall at the end of T3 he says "we will meet again" WHEN HE KILLS HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with chocolate because the terminator is getting too old now. but if arnold is not on the fouth one its going to look very stupid anyways. i bet this movie is not going to hit the box office with arnold not in it. but i got to wait and see wat the movie looks like and then im going to judge it. we still have hope people if arnold is going to be in T4!

At least a Arnie Cameo, use stock footage, special effects or whatever, abit of nastalgia would help a film I'm almost certain is going to suck.

Wow, this new films going to be a disgrace.... Arnold was what made Terminator so great. This is a disgrace to Arnies legacy. I don't care how the movie turns out, I don't care if someone comes up and flames me, but without Arnold, Terminator is dead. You guys should go ahead and stop working on this new crap, save yourself some money and dignity. The only thing that made me like T3 a little bit was the fact that Arnold was in it. The only little shred of goodness that's going to come from T4 is Bale. But it won't hit box office, I'm telling you. T4s gonna be one of those crappy dvds you sell at the flea market.

Arnold Schwarzenegger may be the main star but The Terminator is not in any means the base of the movie. John Connor is the base of the movie. Without him the world ends and the machines have nothing to do but start fighting eachother once there done destroying mankind. So you see this story can continue without Arnold. However seeing a different Terminator will be odd since Arnold will not be playing it but that being said this is now the future all Harley Davidsons, leather jackets and sunglasses are gone, destroyed and even with Arnold the experiance will be way different. So yes I am saddened that Arnold will not be apart of this but I am not going to say that the movies no good without him.

P.S. As i said before maybe a bit odd w/o Arnold but not a disaster. The main character is JOHN CONNOR. Christain Bale should play the part very well and make it very interesting. Also I think it should do fine in the box office because of its name and the fact its not going to be the same basic two machines sent back from the future naked and in need of clothes. Terminator 3 would of been good if it wasnt the same ol thing again. Like if T-3 was T-1 it would have been fine. So please go see the movie and then talk shit about it. Cause i bet atleast a quarter of you will like it and admit it. Another quarter will like it and not admit it and the other half wont like it at all. But it doesnt matter cause you still bought a ticket.

Well, as said earlier -> no Arnold = no Terminator. Arnold was the one who made the serie so awesome. Without Arnold isn't there a reason to watch this movie.

i hate it when people start judging movies when not even the thrailers have come out. sure, no arnold, but bale is a waaaaayyyy better actor than what that guy ever dreamed of

bale seems a good actor to play connor as he done the whole rain of fire post apocoliptic thing very well. but come on arnie is the design for the t800.. end of. they at least need to put him in for a cameo like they see skynet sending a terminator back in time and a close up shows arnie... somthing like that maybe....?

If Connor dies at all in this film or in the next it will have to be by Arnold because in T3 Arnold tells Connor he kills him, why this should happen is bullshit, so not matter what Connor most likely to die in this one or the next and from the looks of it I think we might see that in this new T4 and hopefully Arnold
