I mean in his own comics wolverine is fast enough to deal with bullets all the time.
Against characters that are expendable we can show what he's really capable of. Against preestablished characters he's slowed down immensly, because he might kill the preestablished character. . .then we'd have to think up a way to bring the character back so as not to offend fans of the preestablshed characters.

you seriously think spidey could concieve that gameplan in about 10 seconds or less...much less....when it took you 224 pages? 😕
if spidey manages a big hit and catches wolverine off balance , spidey could just hit and hit and hit until wolverine gets unconcoious.i have seen him do that to alot of villains and it seems to work.
on the other hand if wolverine manages a lucky swipe and catches spidey then its all over for spidey. but im still leaning towards spidey since he has a bit of an advantage over speed and agile. plus hes also way smarter than wolvie. even if spidey is losing he could probably think of something to kill wolverine.
