Its what heroes use to overcome odds, or lose against characters they shouldn't.

For instance carnage caused the FF, spiderman, and venom trouble.

But batman beat him with his bare hands?

Yes, and this isn't a comic book DISCUSSION, I can sit here and list a mile long who beat who, but that isn't what debates are for.

We are to take objective points, and debate who wins.

This isn't about a winning streak, is CAPTAIN AMERICA in this thread?

If you are going by "xxx beat xxxx" as your argument on why someone would win, especially in a one shot, you are going to get a fanboy reputation.

Think about it, I think wolverine is more suitable to fight the listed people than spiderman in most cases.

I know that batman has beaten superman in the book, but in this debating area, no, because he isn't getting close to batman. Supes knows batman knows his weakness.

As far as marvel,wolverine is in basically EVERY x title, that makes around 7 or 8 at one time.

And the movies, well lets not go there, popularity DOES play a role...

indeed....he is able to survive only becasue he is popular......and his god dam healing factor....he should have died in his first encounter with the hulk

What are you talking about spider man is probably tied with wolverine for my fav. So chill, because someone is faster and stronger he automatically wins thats BS. It is not like its wolvie against the silver surfer or Thor. In real fights the better fighter wins and it ain't like wolverine is out classed on every level go check out the official marvel website you'll see it is closer than you think.

actually wolverine did stab thanos and surfer once....

So why cant he stab spider man and I never said he couldn't cut a guy you know he has cut the Hulk but he doesn't win the fight.

In real life the better fighter wins?Sir I know quite a bit about fighting, and if a something SUPREMELY physically outclasses you, you are losing.

Have you ever fought a person 2x stronger than you? 3x,5x, 10x, 20x, 30x, 45x? I didn't think so.

How about reflexes? 1x, 2x 3x, 5x, 7x? Didn't think so either.

Speed? 4x, 6x, 7x?

How about precognition? didn't think so.

So you are saying a martial artist can beat up a polar bear?

Wolverine isn't fighting silver surfer or thor?

Wolverine is dirt compared to them they are cosmic, high level. wolverine is a middle street level, he can't beat iron man, or any of those.

Wolverine is outclassed in every aspect, except durability and fighting, thats all thats really helping him.

First of all lets say this, wolveirne is DOGSHIT to silver surfer and thanos, he will NEVER cut them, and he shouldnt be able to cut hulk, NOR colossus.

On top of that spiderman is MUCH faster and has precognition, he can dodge wolverine's claws, or just stay on a wall.

Lets not forget webbing...

In the comic book world as you have read and seen wolverine has taken hits by the Hulk who is way stronger than him but with spider man there is no chance to beat a kid who is scared to kill wolverine has the mental advantage because he ain't scared to kill. Spider mans spidey sense doesn't work all the time. 😛

Yes, you are right, so has daredevil and so has cap, they ALL have taken hits from the hulk. Thats a strawman argument, because its happened to all of them.

This isn't in the pages of a comic book. This is a hypothetical debate, hulk CAN AND WILL knock out wolverine, there's not reason he shouldn't.

Yes the Cis factor does inhibit spiderman, you are correct.

Who has more options in this match? Webbing, staying on walls, he can pin wolverine with a car, hold his wrists and web him.

Spiderman's strength is class 15, with insect communication, AND x5 extra reflexes.

So you got range, strength, speed, reflexes, equilibrium, intelligence, reflexes, dexterity, wall adhesiveness, environment usage (webs something and swings it).

Spiderman can jump a small parking lot, knock down buildings, leap 50 feet right in the air.

Its not perfect, but it ALWAYS activates, peter has ignored it in the past, and the artist may not draw it or may have it not show up in a fight for a handicap.

It goes off from aunt may sneaking up from behind, with his reflexes and speed, he can dodge in time.

Wolverine will be fine to dodge, as spidey's precog has gotten better aswell.
