spiderman dont hld back wit wolverine
Doesn't really matter though, he's taken much stronger hits from people much stronger than Spiderman, so even if he didn't he still cpouldn't acheive what others stronger than him failed to do.

Yeah i'm going to take Spiderman's word for it this time. Since he also failed to knock wolverine out on any of their other confrontations and hell Giant sized X-Men #1 Wolverine gets hit full force by collosus and Wolverine was just fine.So yeah. . . Spiderman says he wasn't holding back, and that fits Wolverine's character.
Bah. "Full force" shot from Colossus, my ass.
Yes, I know what Colossus said. But characters say and do a lot of things.

So if that's okay, why isn't Secret Wars? Where Spidey punks the X-men?I mean, we're both really picking and choosing here, don't you think?
My objection to Secret wars was HOW he punked the X-men. . during that sequence only a few X-men appeared in more than one panel.
He neutirilized Nightcrawler's teleportation, Storm shot one measily bolt and gave up, and rouge was also neutrilized. . she could have broke the stupid girder but no she was webbed and gave up. Total PIS. . .
Originally posted by TwisterGameXBack then it was webshooter, which is how he was able to spray a net over 'crawler.
so webbing people that don't want to fight is winning...so which spiderman we usings webshooter or organics
Currently he's organic. . . So we don't know if he can shoot that way at present.

But it happened right? Spidey smacked Wolvie away like he was nothing, wasn't scared of him at all, didn't even think he was dangerous. And then he punks the rest.
Don't worry, Cresh. I agree with you. The other X-men save Wolverine should've definitely stopped him.
But where you don't agree with me, is that I believe that "Full force hit" from Colossus is also PIS. Come on, think comic-logically here.
Originally posted by MetalmanxWhy would it be PIS? He takes shots from the hulk all the time.

You can't blame popularity either. GSX1 was his second appearence, when they decided to develop him into a good guy.
He's constantly taking hits from strongmen.
So why is it PIS?
I haven't heard good reasons for these events to be called PIS. and that is the important thing about calling PIS on sonmething. The why.
Obvious ones like the nuke-palm where he's never shown that level of durabiltiy before or since and even his clothing was fine.
Namor, where usually when he's hit by a strong person he flies back if able to, and namor doesn't. . .
The healing from a drop of blood and going into the sun are protected by plot devices.
So why is it PIS?
If I remember correctly (I may need to see the scan again), but Wolverine looked as if he wasn't even hit when Colossus "hit" him. Seriously, he looked as if someone had brushed a feather against him. Didn't Wolvie even say something along the lines of "Don't worry about it" or something macho like that?

But yeah if a 75 tonner hits you full force and you weigh 300 lbs, you are going to look like that.

Originally posted by CreshoskPlease, you want to talk about consistency and choose when it suits you, spiderman holds back ALL the time, its his character, a great power is a great responsibility. He didn't attack from a distance or stay on a wall, it was all in wolverine's favor. Going by crossovers besides reasoning, and NONE of the crossovers suit the stipulations of the match...

wolverine said spiderman can break his neck and basically beat him, and spiderman said he was 40x faster than a person.
I'm taking their words for it... because it suits me....
