No, it won't permanently injure Wolverine. But it pretty much negates anything Wolverine could do to him, since Wolverine wouldn't be able to attack at all, what with being swatted away like a fly.

the thing is, if spiderman wins because he has to retreat to a wall and/or smack wolverine with a car then he is winning by plot device... thus defeating the purpose of this debate...

so now spiderman negates wolverine's range since wolverine has a better range with arm length, wolverine's skill since wolverine's better in h2h combat, and wolverine's arms since wolverine has two to hack away with while spiderman would trying to be landing with at least one solid hit...
