It all depends on if Spider-Man can move faster than Cyclops can aim. To be honest, he can. How quick he is can be seriously underrated sometimes, and I see it a LOT on this website. Heck, Spider-Man doesn't even get respect in his own section of the website. It's bunk. Also, why is it that we can't discuss post-other abilites? The thread starter never specified.

Cyclops has tagged Northstar and Quicksilver before with his blasts. Spider-man wouldn't have a chance in hell.

Cyclops may be able to beat Wolverine but I still think Wolverine is a much better and cooler character than him. Cyclops's power is really cheap if you think about it, he doesn't even really need to train for anything. He could just sit around on the couch eating potato chips all day, I mean all he has to do is look at something and push the button by his visor. 😛

Saying that he can dodge Quicksilver isn't saying much versus being able to dodge Cyclops's blasts. There is a BIG difference between 600mph (Quicksilver's speed) and the speed of light (Cyclops's blast speed).

No but I mean think about it, Spider-Man may be able to dodge a quick blast fired by Cyclops, but Cyclops would just keep holding down his visor button and let out a really long stream of fire (much like he did in X2). Spider-Man couldn't dodge a continual blast from Cyclops, however a quick little click of the button, he could.
