Well, maybe. I've heard from miltary medics that a shot to the balls does so much damage if done by huge force that it's ridiculous, considering not only is it hitting that large nerve cluster, but it's gonna shake up your intestines, hit nerves everywhere else, make you puke blood, and so forth. You don't have as many nerves in your face, but since Wolverine has a regenerative healing factor, the bloodflow wouldn't kill him. That, and his skeleton. If you look at Frank's face, he's a little shocked it didn't slow Logan down. The time they had fought before that, Frank blasted a huge hole in Logan's side with an automatic shotgun. Castle is just that damn good.

Wolverine has been dropped by less then a blast to the face that was just horrible anyway.

The most painful place to get shot is the stomach. The second? That be the knee.

I all ways liked War Journal some terric stuff but that isn't how a Wolverine vs Castle fight would happen. We will never see how that fight would happen in a comic since the only possible out come is a dead Punisher.

Thats the problem he is massive damage soak and would take a hell of a beatting before going down (he took three rubber bullets point blank to the face before getting knocked out!). The fight would end with Wolverine killing him.
