I'm pretty sure it just meant "mistake" or something like that... It's the equivalent of a comic that used the word "gay" for "happy" a lot, except that the previous meaning of "boner" isn't nearly as well known today. I think that comic contains the word something like 23 times. Amazing.
In well written story there is no way for Logan to touch Spider-man.
All writers know Spider's reflexes are 40 times better than reflexes of ordinaty man, but when it comes to comix it seems all of them forget about it.
Firstly imagine. Wolverine tries to hit spidey. Now imagine that Wolverine moves 40 times slower than usually. This is how Spider-man sees Wolverine. There is absolutly no chance for Logan to stab Spider.

5 Times?!?! Let's do some math here.
Wolverine can lift, what, 800lbs? We'll give him 1000 to be generous. Now let's be even more generous and have Spidey at 10 tons (even though he's more). That's 20x more. 20 times more force to propel himself around...thus, speed. Now consider that Logan weighs a lot more than SM (due to the skeleton). I'd say we're safely up to about 25x. Now add that to the obvious matter of spider-sense, which increases his reflexes an unquantifiable amount. We'll be cautious and only go up to 30x.
Now, in your defense, let's say there's a law of diminishing returns, where eventually strength doesn't simply equal more speed. So we'll cut that number in half. Which gives us 15x. I've given Wolverine every advantage, and I can still only justify about 15x faster in the reflex/speed department.
Take all that into consideration, and I think you'll see that if Logan has ever hit SM, it's because he's being written up...way up. On the other hand, those occasions (and there's more than one) of Parker owning Logan, it's probably written truer to form.

I said his reflexes are 40 times faster, not that he moves 40 faster.
I know Wolverine hit Spider-man before, well Flash've been hit before. Such things happen in comix because otherwise it wont be interesting to read them.
