anyways.....spiderman without his powers can't hit as hard as bats, hence batman comparitively hits harder than parker, but spiderman with powers hits harder than bats. is that easier for your brain to grasp?

And i'm telling you that spidey's best punch put out no more than 5000 psi. his average punch of course would be far less powerful. Sure his strength allows him to do thing Bats can't, it's just too bad he doesn't know how to use it.

A good illustration of that is when Spidey and Wolvie switched bodies, and Wolvie made damn good use of the strength.

Anyway, you need to read the thread, the whole thread. And then you'd clearly see how you're taking the wrong side on the arguement.

ummm....k.....so..ppl say batz can hit harder than spiderman cos of his training etc. so....with all this training, he can dish out 2000 psi. But if someone battling someone as fast as spidey wont be able to punch at their most effective, cos they not gonna be on balance the whole time either. You are giving batman the optimum conditions, a second or so, to dischrage this punch, but why would someone as fast as spiderman give him even that one second? Batz wont be able to aim directly for a weak spot, like the diaphram or sumtin in the heat of a spidey battle, cos of all teh flipping etc. So say he dishes out a punch to the jaw. it'll hurt spidey no doubt, but then we must give spidey the chance to hit back, and spidey will quite possibly break batmans jaw.

i see how you guys are using technique as an asset to increase strength of a punch, but spidey is strong enough without 10 million martial arts training to dish out punches equal and stronger to bats on a regular basis, even when he's off balance...

It couldn't hurt to bring in a little fighting experience could it? That's all we're trying to do.

Recovering from a correct punch is easy, there won't be much time for Spidey to capitilize. Recovering from an incorrect punch, especially some of spidey's more extravagent maneuvers is difficult. Leaving much more time for a counter attack. The first one might not be dead center but the next few certainly could be.

Oh and human martial artist can strike in excess of 2000 psi. Batman can, and has shown that he can produce a far greater force. And don't forget about the Chi.

Also, Spidey won't be breaking anyone's jaw, Batman can roll with the punches (another benifit of being a top notch fighter) and other humans have taken full on punches from spidey and survive just fine.

actually why is this turning into a batman vs. spiderman thread? don't we already have one of those? point is wolverine's got the same training advantageous that bat's has and adamatium to back it up....good night petey....lol

no...the actual point was that batman a regular guy can utilize his body to it's maximum potential and acheive the maximum amount of power per hit if he so chooses....spiderman can't utilize his super-body half as decently as batman can because he lacks the training....man this is beginning to confuse and boggle everybody who reads it....sorry I said it in the first place....lol

Ayjay brought up bats and it spun my head, i've posted so much on Spidey vs. threads it spun my head. I don't know if he was confused and i went with it or what.

Ya, so Jinzin is right, this IS a Wolverine v. Spidey thread, but all the same I have to reply to the recent Batman/Spidey debate.

Man, I know Spidey gets underestimated by a lot of people in this forum, but that's going way too far.
2ndly, a few of you are making Spidey out to be some wet behind the ears rookie. As I said before, think about the THOUSANDS of fights Spidey has been in. HE KNOWS HOW TO THROW A PUNCH!!
Lastly, even if Spidey's punches aren't as efficient as Batman's IT DOESN'T MATTER! Spidey hitting at 50% is still a lot more powerful than Batman at 100%.
Alright, I'm done on this particular issue.

OK i may be off base on this but everyone talks about how spidermans spidey sence would always save him from attack and that noone can ever hit him. but doesn't his spidey sence just tell him that danger is near i mean it don't show him a picture of exactly what will happen so he does not know if a punch is coming from his right , left an uppercut or a bullet coming at him.
