the city is basically Spiderman's best environment it is almost like his powers were tailored specifically for the city environment. Spidey in a big open area, or say the desert. Still a really good fighter, but he definitely loses some of his advantage.

All I'm saying is that Spider-man takes down a Herald of Galactus!!!!! Spidey gets really underestimated all the time, and this just proves why Spidey can hang with the best of them.

Or what about Secret Wars, when Spidey beats Titania, after she beat She-Hulk. Titania tried to face up against veteran super-hero Spider-Man; despite her massive strength and durability advantages, Spider-Man's highly-increased speed, agility, and long experience against more powerful foes, allowed him to not only dodge her attacks, but to be able to attack her with impunity, culminating in throwing her through an exterior wall. After that Titania would harbor a fear of Spider-Man for some time.

So how would Wolvie have faired against these foes? I honestly don't know maybe he would have won. But I do not think Wolverine could take down a herald of Galactus by himself, or She-Hulk. And since Titania beat She-Hulk, I do not think he could stand against her either.
