really....spiderman and wolverine have tusseled and tussled and tussled....spiderman's tried his webbing...the only time it worked was when wolverine WASN'T TRYING to fight him.....all other times with the exception of secret wars he's handed spiderman his ass.....now marvel's even confirmed wolverine's the better of the two....but once again...spidey fan's always know more about him than anyone else...including marvel 🙄

I'm beggining to think that maybe I'm too old to be posting anymore. All jokes aside all the characters are changing into different characters. Spider-man can talk to INSECTS 🤨 and has organic webbing, and wolverine can jump higher run faster hit harder and lift over fifteen tons. I'm beginning to think you guys are familiar with some new versions of every character.
I'll accept this info from Marvel if you can give me at least a few details cause Wolvy's better than Spidey sounds a bit more like an opinion than a fact.

the organic webbing's definitely been confirmed he was having trouble using his new "creepy organic webbing" in the newest avengers title....
but the stats I speak of are covered in the general comic book discusion forum...just check for the thread that has secret war on it...marvel used a combination of everything each character brings to the battlefield and wolvie came out one tier over the web head.....this is what we've been saying allalong....spiderman is slightly better off in terms of obvious advantages...not the most important ones...

Well that's fair as far as I'm concerned but that doesn't mean he can tear through the webbing like the Hulk.
Wolverine IS deadlier of an opponent than Spider-man in the comics because he is fueled by rage and heals all wounds. Makes sense to me.
That doesn't make him strong enough to tear through webbing.

The hulk is on a higher level than Spidey too and started there. But Spidey went off on him and knocked him out. Marvels credibility there takes a slap. I don't discredit all that they say but they don't always make sense.
How did Angel survive a punch from a possessed iceman in the rampage armor? Marvel made it happen. Why? I truly don't know.
well the thing is relatively little is known about spidey new organic webbing....if this was spidey was wolvie with web shooters....he'd face the same problem he does here......he can only immobilized wolverine if he leaves him in an uncomprimising position, but the only way that happens is if wolverine lets it happen....hell even in MTU1 when spiderman did web him up...it couldn't hold him there....wolverine was just trying to wait it out so he didn't have to inflict pain upon himself...when he realized he needed to get moving he freed himself of the webbing easily enough....the only way spiderman might be able to capitalize is if wolverine is bound with his hands to his sides like spidey vs. green gob was....or if he's in crucifix position...which is even debateable now due to marvel knights spidey...
