Being a skiled mutant ninja samura fighter and having studied all martial arts in the world Wolverine used his hightened senses and superhuman speed in order to wave his claws like a drunken monkey until he managed to land what he himself admitted was a lucky shot. Makes me proud.👆 Classic Spider-man made Speed Deamon run into a wall by rearranging the ground in his track. More recent Spider-man just bitchslaps him ftw.😎

After Wolverine missed the first time, Speedy should've been long gone. And if you want to argue Wolverine is able to run fast enough to overtake him, he wouldn't need to stop and time his shots/intercept, he would have been a legitimate speedster.

And here's the difference between Spider-man and Wolverine - Pete actually has the speed and reflexes to take on faster opponents like Speed Demon. React to his movement and counterattack. While Logan's only chance is to rely on PIS hoping Speed Demon accidently runs into him.

Kain recently fought a teleporter and a speedster who had a sword. Blitzed both of them. Yet Spider-man was shown to be too fast even for an upgraded Kain. Let alone some hairy midget who studied martial arts his whole life so he could fight like a drunken lumberjack.

Wolverine should stick to things more up to his speed. Like Tae Bo for example. Or doing Lipton commecrials.

lol this thread, I debated pretty heavily for spider-man bout a few years ago but I lean heavily on wolverine now.

Demon is Parker's villain, so it's obvious he had more encounters with him, good guys always win in the end, so Pete got some good showings... eventually.

Yeah, while I'm backing the other horse, Spidey reacting to Speed Demon within his own comic is something I take with a grain of salt. He's fast, but shouldn't be "that" fast.

And didn't Speed Demon outright blitz him in Thunderbolts, the comic series known for dispensing with PIS?
