I did. Key word: Was. I merely brought it back up because after describing something as distinctive as post-modernism in a completely random and off target way, not to mention avoiding what it does actually mean (as you only pointed out a miniscule facet of it), doesn't exactly put you in the position of judging my intelligence.

Oh and you won't "give" me anything. Missing words in posts can be avoided if you read them. What was it you said? I come across as someone who doesn't stick to the image of intelligence due to not reading your posts? Once again you should heed your own advice.

and as for me not being in a position to judge your intelligence, how do you know that. i made a few statements that you didn't deem proper so now IBM not allowed to comment? thats plain stupid, i don't think you can say that until you have actually met me or at least had a proper conversation with me to gauge my intelligence

No but it doesn't take a paragraph to apply the relevant part of post-modernism to this thread. You applied not only the irrelevant part, but a very very very small part and then took it upon yourself to ask US if we knew what it meant.

Because you aren't exactly coming across as an intelligent person yourself. Nothing I've said has discredited my intelligence. I explained ONE thing poorly, corrected it and apologised. You've pretty much made nothing more than presumptuous comments about topic without ever making relevent reference, contradicted yourself by claiming I don't read your posts and then actually missing entire words and meanings in mine, now you're assuming that I don't think you're worthy to comment based on one thing. It's not about being worthy, I'm open to commenting. However, given the reasons I just gave, I don't think it's in this thread that you are in any position to be referring to me looking unintelligent or coming across as such, when you are doing that yourself. I'm not, you're just misinterpreting me.

fair enough, i can see where your coming from, and while i did use only a narrow part of the whole meaning of post-modernism, i felt that that part was the best when talking about the subject i was referring to. sorry for pissing you off, i wasn't trying to. ask simple plan fans, i tend to piss them all off without meaning too

I dont know about rating in opinion, but i'm sure Tool will be remembered as a very important band (to alot of people, inc: myself) Can you honestly see that happening for your favourite bands?

my point is that; you are using opinion to substantiate a reason for Tool being a bad band and with your only attributes for this being: opinion and media (where Tool only seem to get rightly mentioned as good musicians and not much else - gossip wise)

So have your opinion, but unless it's fact - don't try and claim it to be so.
