i'm reading the first book again right now...and Neville is so cute...Malfoy puts a leglocker curse on him, and tells him hes not brave enough to be in Gryffindor. But then Harry tells him that hes worth 12 of Malfoy, and then Neville stands up to Malfoy and says "well, i'm worth 12 of you!" I love it! 🙂

I remember that! I thought that was so sweet that Harry said that to him. Back to Neville, you know, there is a reason that Neville is in Gryffindor. I think that we're starting to see Neville stick up for himself and prove himself more. Just because he wasn't the lost prophecy, he must be of some great importance because he was one of the two that was born at the end of July. Don't you think?

i definately agree, like you said, he is in Gryffindor, which means hes definately got some courage and bravery in him! And I think its slowly starting to come out! Plus, even if it isn't his prophecy, hes still important.

The question is....when? 😖hifty: I think that some of it will come in HBP, but majorly in the last book. I'm not exactly for sure how, but it'll be with Beatrix again, hopefully.

I think that being in the DA with Harry and the others boosted his confidence, and his courage. That is probably part of what is helping his abilities increase. I mean, half of doing something is believing you can do it!!

You're right! Let's just hope that Harry isn't going to be as down on himself as the 5th book. He was such a butt head then.

What did u make of the clues/hints she gave?? And the two questions she said we shoud be thinking about??

Well, I'm kind-of wondering what Petunia's role will be in the next two books. They say that she's not a squib as if it's a big deal, but it really isn't since her background has no magical blood.... but anyway.

I kind-of wonder about the part where she said that Voldemort has never cared for anyone and she said that takes us to the hbp....

Yeah. me too. But supposeddly Petunia has some importance in the next two...Who knows, other than JK?? And did you catch the clues about Sirius?? I was also wondering about the two questions ("Why didn't Voldemort die when the spell rebounded?" and "Why didn't Dumbledore try to kill Voldemort in the Ministry of Magic?"😉

Anyone have any thoughts about those two questions?? I'm curious to know what people think, especially since I don't know what to think.

Those are REALLY good questions...and...i'm kind of blank for answers! for the first one...wouldn't that be connected to the prophecy? wouldn't make sense for voldy to die then...being that the prophecy said the one born at the end of the 7th month would be the one to kill the dark lord. And the second question...is that referring to when voldy posessed harry...and DD could have killed him? If so...DD cares WAY to much for harry to sacrifice him. He revealed that in the end of the 5th book. he said that one of his faults was his feelings for harry...and how it went beyond that of headmaster and student.

Maybe Dumbledore has some type of connection with Voldemort

The second question is referring to when they were all in the Minestry, and Harry and the other DA members were running from Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Then Dumbldore and the other Phoenix members came in. (When Voldy and Dumbledore had a kind of face off)

Yeah, I know what you're talking about, but I think that Dumbledore and Voldemort have some type of connection....

I was thinking that too...I thought maybe he wouldn't try because of the prophecy, you know, how either Harry has to kill Voldemort, or the other way around. Dubledore knew that he wouldn't be able to, even if he tried, so he didn't waste his energy. But JK did say she didn't think these answers would be very guessable, so try to think of something that you would think she would NEVER have happen.

^yeah..i finally read the actual intereview and got more of an idea as to what you were talking about. And I definately agree w/ what you said...but...she did say we'll prolly never guess it 😖
