USH'S MATRIX GAME- The Dojo

I use this:
You may spend a focus point to make a dodge that is only worth one point rather than two, but applies to EVERYONE trying to hit you in a round. This is your reaction to everyone that round, and only costs one exertion.

if it works the way I think it does it should be enough
(storm turtle 1 focus point)

Certainly does, they now need 7s to hit you. Still the cops scored negative again which is no good! They are firing wild.

Cop 1: Hurt (5)
Cop 2: Ok
Fire: 11/0/-1

Fire, your move

I drop the empty ingram drawing my sword in the same motion and I go balastic at the ok cop using my whirlwind attack (I know it's overkill but just for the sake of it)
(weapon jade emperor 6 focus points)

It takes you an action to reach them, Fire. They will then both fire with +1 to hit as it as at pointblank range...

good NP

Your defence?

normal dodge the two attacks

Very well, they both are Countered- one rather enormously!

You gain two exertions for the dodges and one for dropping and changing weapon.

Cop 1: Hurt (5)
Cop 2: Ok
Fire: 11/0/2

NOW you perform your attack! Your first one actually misses, would you believe? The second, however, impaled the cop and takes him straight out.

The last one tries one (probably) last three bullet (Guns) attack on you...

I dodge using storm turtle (-2 focus points)

Evens shot, no chance, countered.

Focus restores..

Your move, Fire

I make a lightening fast jab at his guts (3 focus points weapon Jade Emperor) if I hit I spend one extra focus to skewer him (1 focuspoint jade emperor)

Oooh, he hasnlt much of a chance with that... as it is you roll a +4 and kill him without the skewering!

There!

ok, me me
i wanna go
*btw, nice fire*
1 deagle, 3 extra clips, knives
6 cops

okay..lemme see if i got this right.

(venerable grasshopper -2 focus, simultaneous reflex attack.) I don't know if this can work with a defense also....so you correct me where i'm wrong. AND..i don't know if the focus on these moves is limited...beacause my move seems to need more of it, so...if i can add as much focus as i think is necessary i'd use -4 p.

Rade jumps to reach Grim's punching hand with his foot and block it while his second foot arches for grim's face.

Okiokdey, good question as we have not used reflex attacks yet. Basically this means you get an attack on him right now- which you have described- which he as to defend against at the same as you defend against his.

I am going to assume your reaction was 'defend'- but you do have to specify your reaction as well as your reflex attack. Mind you, I must owrk on that particular kick reflex power because it was hastily adapted- it will stand as it is for now.

You don't need any focus other than the basic cost.

Grim did not time his shot well and your block succeeds easily. He decides to (Dodge) your riposte taking his defensive skill to 8- however, a +3 on your roll gives you a total of 8 as well, and a hit for two points of damage as you land a sligh but solid blow. Nice riposte!

Now it is your move, Rade.

Ok,. Burn, distance?

attack:kick

Venerable grasshopper -3 focus.
Rade runs towards Grim, jumps into the air and unleashes a series of kicks at him.

uhh
35-40 feet

Ok, that will take at least two actions to close the distance, Burn. Anyhow- you shoot first, of course!

Grim (dodges) again, Rade, trying to twist around to your side. He also pays two focus to use Healthy Tiger to get a reflex attack on you.

You roll a -1 and your atack is countered. Grim immediately ripostes with a chop to your throat. You have also gained an exertion point.

(I don't plan on closing the distance)
Roan whips out his deagle, drops to one knee and takes a shot at guard 1's head

defense (dodge)
Rade tries to dodge his attack, being quick in rolling beside the fist

(i didn't use defend because he has a 6 MA score, if i remember correctly.....btw..where do these guyz have their stats?)
