Lilbitchiness> Yep. There’s the Matrix Question thread if you just need to get some things cleared up. 🙂
And I’m by no means all-knowing (I’d play the lottery if I was).
No. The man who was born inside the Matrix, whom Morpheus refers to was the fifth One. Neo’s immediate predecessor. The Architect just WROTE the Matrix program.
The problem with just placing people in comas are, that it’s a dangerous state of mind. We know nothing about what happens to people when they’re in a coma, some wake up, some never do. Then you could argue, “The machines would know”, but on that assumption there wouldn’t have been any movies 😉.
Then why not just drug up the entire “crop”? That deteriorates the body fast (look at drug-addicts in general). So why not simply keep the crop happy, sedated without drugs, but through “dreams.”?

That is an interesting analysis and I appericiate the fact you just stated with opinions without name-calling or insulting. Here's the response. If they don't care about death, wouldn't it be much more efficient to have a self-destructing code so that they could do much more damage? Look at the kamikaze pilots in WWII. The only difference would be that the machines would be much more effective in that they would have superiority in numbers whereas the kamikaze pilots were a last ditch attempt. When it comes down to it, they WOULD do more damage if they could explode rather than swarming around and impaling humans with their arms. The sentinels didn't seem to be a very effective killing machine. As far as the whole "Being sure of hitting the target" argument, what if the sentinels could use their claw/arm things to cling onto a structure or person before exploding? Why said that the explosions had to be big? Just big enough to do enough damage. The machines obviously didn't care about how much damage they were doing since they felt no need to attach a parachute to those massive didding machines, right?
And just how much more damage would they have done if they would have had the ability to fire weapons? For instance, when they swarm together and they're charging the captain guy who gets mutiliated, wouldn't they have done much more damage if the sentinels could have returned fire? I just think that if the "machines" truely had an intent to "destroy" Zion, they could have done a much better job. But I still think the fighting sequence was very entertaining and I don't have any complaints about it. I'll take plot holes over reality any day.

Yes we did, but you asked the question "What happened to Smiths host when Neo deleted him in part 1" and that is the full answer. 😬 The host died, and that was why - and there was the supporting evidence. That's all...
JediHDM had already answered my question... and I was asking what happened to the business man's mind when Neo jumped into him and destroyed Smith, not just what happens to any of Smith's hosts.

I'm sorry, I had missed Jedi's post. But the answer for one host is the answer for all hosts - no matter what the conditions. That is all I was trying to say. Sorry if I offended you. 🙁 I was just trying to help...
One mistake I noticed was in M1 where Neo is at work. He is in his own cubicle and is sitting looking at a blank monitor, and soon after the delivery guy comes and gives him the phone. For about 5 seconds he is actually looking at the monitor as if its meant to be on, and hes meant to be doing work, but it ain't.
I wonder why the machines did not find a way to clear the sky, so that they again could make use of solar energy. Maybe they like the creepy dark atmosphere, but with all the rain, they must have big problems with corrosion and short curcuits 🙂
And another question, why don't do they expand to space? Or did they already? And who is this "person" who speaks with neo in the end of the movie, is he like the Borg woman in Star Trek First Contact, the individual where no individual can exist?
I never really thought about the machines never unscorching the sky, there must be a reason, unfortunately that reason is unknown to me.
What rellavence to the movie does them being in space or not have??
They couldn't survive in space, they need humans or sunlight.
Neo spoke to Deus Ex Machina which is "God in the Machine".
....so yeah ✅

Sorry. I was talking about what would happen to the host's mind.
matrix plot holes
the matrix revolutions was an alright movie but there were many plot holes like
#1 why did the talking head want neo to distroy smith. couldnt the floating head guy just turn of the matrix?
#2 at the end of the movie the maker of the matrix says that the people in the matrix will be released. isnt that a bad thing becaouse they live of the humons?
thats all i got for now if anny one has anny more post them and i might be able to fugure out the holes in ur plot holes 😉
