Juggernaut or The Hulk?

Started by Cosmic Cube486 pages

"I havent been adding new abilities to Juggernaut centauri, far as Juggernauts concernced as long as hes connected to Cyttorak his soul cannot be taken away.
The Hulk doesnt have to breathe? How gay, there making him more and more immortal for real by the second.

Immortality means life forever, So technically Juggernaut doesnt fit under-neath that, he cant die from normal terms... as ive been stating, aging is one of them.
Hes super immune, or just immune, to all forms of physical attack, the ONLY reason I still stand by Juggernauts side on this fight is because of his supreme invulnrebility to physical attacks. And, the only attacks The Hulk has are indeed, physical making Juggernaut barly scratched by them.
I may have misspelled 'Barly'"

It's barely.

Do you know what immune means? You're throwing the word around loosely. Resistant and immune do not mean the same thing.

Here's an analogy:
If I am resistant to small pox, I can catch it, though I probably won't.
If I am immune to small pox, I will not catch it, no chance in hell.

Juggernaut is NOT immune to physical attack. Hulk has beaten him in a fight of brute strength before.

Hulk is not immortal, he can be killed. However, he will always eventually resurrect if his atoms aren't dispersed by vast distances, and even then, they will draw together slowly (his resurrection is similar to an Eternal.) The Maestro put it best in TIH volume 2, issue 460. The Hulk can't be killed off permanently.

Despite all of the valid points and arguments in this thread, the fact of the matter remains that the Hulk (without Apocalypse's aid) has NEVER knocked out or rendered the Juggernaut unconscious.

Has he ever been in a situation where he has been underwater and almost drown? No. Therefore YOU made the assumption he needed to breathe underwater. I didn't. The writers just brought it to the forefront.

They didn't bestow a quality upon him that he never had.

Heheheh, that's an... original way to look at it. You put a smile on my face... 😉

So I guess when Hulk suddenly possesses laserbeams coming out of his eyes, you would say : "I knew he always had that, but YOU assumed he hadn't. The writers just brought it to the forefront."

actually hulk has been put into a situation where he said he could drown as easily as any normal human 😉 oddly enough it was in a battle with juggernaut. please pick up hulk 402 and actually read it...

flyxx shots and scores.

No I wouldn't, stop making assumptions. Hulk not needing to breathe is at least conceivable. I think it'd be pathetic if they gave him laser vision.

Hulk doesn't even need to swim, he could drop to the bottom of the ocean and jump all the way back to land.

hulk needs to breathe 😉 he admits he can drown just as easily as the next guy... in hulk 402.

I wouldn't say "just" as easily.

exactly, that was issue 402, ...we are talking about this month's issue...he no longer needs to breath! Banner explained it, his body produced fluid in his lungs that would prevent him from asphyxiating.

^^^^^^^^ i see no wording... only hulk setting under water 😉 maybe he's holding his breathe. but i guess its possible. maybe i just need to pick up a few new comics.

uuuh...I believe hulk stated that line because he didn't get a chance to hold his breath before plunged into the water......He's also made reference on a many occasions to his lung capacity being comparable to that of a whale...

"maybe i just need to pick up a few new comics."

That might help you and your debate considering you are the one telling me to pick comics up and actually read them.

Off topic somewhat: I love the way Hulk just made a mockery of Earth's oldest and most perfectly evolved killing machine. Easy feat for him but just fun.

er guys ahy can hulks limitless power eventually grow too powerful for cyttorak to protect juggie???????????? well within the bounds of comics, and within the bounds of the sort of thing expected of hulk. as juggies protected from physical harm it makes perfect sense that something physical with more power can overide whatever magic cyttorak has and render it useless. hulk can get that powerful. END

Hulk'll probably get bored before that even comes close to happening.

"Hulk'll probably get bored before that even comes close to happening."

Yet Juggernaut has some anti-boredom thing going on for him I noticed. That has yet to be addressed.

Hulk and Juggernaut'll probably get bored before that even comes close to happening.

I'm looking for the issue. However, should I not be able to find it, I have quoted it somewhere else in this thread. So I can assure you it's not BS.

I'm sure it's not BS, I'm just curious.

Right i nebver said hulk would beat Galactus. i said it is within the bounds of his character that he would get stronger physically, s he could anyone really.

It may be possible, but I seriously doubt it would ever happen, before Galactus flicked him away like a booger.

* there is no argument here. its well within hulks character to get so pissed he gets so strong and overcomes cyttoraks magic.

And you still have yet to prove he would actually be able to do this, what more powerful have tryed already.

* tron i take it you cant prove my point to me, fair enough.

About as much as you can prove to me.

* cyttorrak isnt infinite in power as there are other more powerful magics etc., juggie only has access to a portion of this too.

Okay, you've said this already, and no one's repeated it, so why bring it up again?

* juggie is not powerful enough to knock out hulk so whats he gonna d to hurt him??????

Apparantly, it's been shown otherwise, and it's shown that he could hurt him also, so again, where's your proof of this?

"And you still have yet to prove he would actually be able to do this, what more powerful have tryed already."

Because Hulk's strength is limitless so in theory he can become strong enough to break or destroy something with limit. Seeing as there are more powerful entities than Cyttorak, that are also without limit, I think that's what he's getting at.
