Juggernaut or The Hulk?

Swanky,

There are several holes in your theory that Onslaught forced Juggernaut to will away his power.

If he could force Juggernaut to will away his power, why wouldn't he force Juggernaut to surrender all of his power?

If Juggernaut didn't have his power, a punch from Onslaught would have killed Juggernaut, not just knock him out. Without his power, he's only a human.

If he could just force Juggernaut to will away his power, why would he take the gem of Cyttorak from Juggernaut?

Onslaught did not have telekinesis when Juggernaut first encountered him. Juggernaut is not vulnerable to telekinesis, he is only vulnerable through his mind, remember? "Psi Power" will only hurt Juggernaut if it affects his MIND. Telekinesis does not affect the mind.

True but onslaught could have easily blanked his mind and used telekinesis to throw him.or he could have wiped his mind, then throw punch, kick whatever.the point is juggs was unconsious and the only way to do tha is threw psi power. his body in that issue uncx-men322. his body was fine he got up etc. his mind seemed to be in more of a worse state

Are you suggesting Onslaught can attack Juggernaut through the helmet?

ONSLAUGHT DID NOT HAVE TELEKINESIS DURING THAT FIGHT.

He just got the crap knocked out of him, of course he's going to be disorientated when he regains consciousness. You are ASSUMING that Juggernaut cannot be hurt physically. It hasn't been proven.

i have the entire onslaught saga and im going threw the pages.Onslaught had telekenisis way before he absorbed nate grey.
he attacked jean grey, dark beast ,the x-men and others.
in that same issue where juggs landed psyclocke actually used her psychic knife and it went threw his helmet! Go figure?

The whole Onslaught sage was full of mistakes and errors. and alot of characters suffered tons of shit writing. juggernaut gets the gem of cytorrak ripped from his chest! how is that possible when juggs never had the gem to begin with.and certainly not in his chest.

all that was just marketing strategy by marvel, so they could do there heros reborn crap, with jim lee etc.
so they make a super powerful villian, showcase him by doing the impossible against juggernaut, and then have him kill half the superheros.

not alot of checking back issues of stories on juggernaut was done. ending in mass confusion. like the whole gem situation. then when marvel realized they try to correct it, but all this does is cause more confusion with little back checking.

bad writing again. just like doc ock knocking hulk

Actually look at the heros that died in the onslaught saga how do u explain them coming back. Marvel said they died but were reborn in a pocket universe created by franklin? WTF? and then they found there way back into reality? do u get my point marvel was all over the place with this storyline. things that shouldnt have happened, happened. and when they try to explain it. oh they died but were born again. what the f@#K

Franklin Richards reality warping power allowed Onslaught to take the gem out of Juggernaut's chest, that wasn't crap writing.

Juggernaut's Helmet was nearly destroyed by the punch. That's why Psylocke could penetrate it..

In what issue does Onslaught attack the X-Men with telekinesis?

They never really died, they went into Frankiln's pocket universe when they entered Onslaught's energy form.

x-men😮nslaught
dude he didnt have franklins absorbing power back then when he did that.

thats not even the point. the point is juggernaut didnt even have the gem of cytorrak. let alone in his chest. he never had the gem to begin with. he touched it. turned to juggernaut, went to look for it, gave it to black tom, then tossed it into space! but how did he magically fly into space? then what he swallowed the gem? lol thats crap writing dude

They did die they were blasted to pieces. franklin was long outta onslaught so he couldnt have done it. that was marvels answer. which isnt good enough cause it made no sense

and in uncx 322 juggernauts helmet isnt destroyed its fine

When Onslaught took Juggernaut's power he did have the reality warping power.

nope, thats what i mean it makes no sense, he tries to get franklin< in xmen onslaught he is a mental projection only franklin can see. his "invisible friend" and onslaught already ripped the gem outta juggernaut before that issue

This is why the thread won't die.

It's anything but Juggernaut Vs Hulk.

Im getting my kids ready to fight for me in this thread while I pass away in the future!

Go Hulk!

its hard to do. when both characters have been victims of marvel mistakes and crap writing. and its hard to understand there full powers when some crap storyline affects what we know originally of them. there is no excuse for doc ocK to be knocKing out any form of hulk, plus the juggernaut onslaught mishaps. maybe we should say the fight is between savage hulk and pre onslaught juggernaut. cause that storyline messed up a real awesome character. but its even worse Know with his powers being drained.

juggs and hulk are my 2 favourite characters in the marvel universe. as a kid i loved that fact that they were huge and had incredible strength. so i did what i could to look like em so i tooK up weightlifting. i was the incredible hulk for halloween. i always wanted to see a real good fight between them likE 2 issues long and with no interferance, so far all the fights have been lackluster at best.

I am going to take marvel's word for it. They say that Juggernaut has an "extraordinary degree of resistance to injury" not "immunity to injury." If you can't believe marvel regarding their character, who can you believe? What's more credible, marvel or a fansite?

We can only hope that Marvel has a good writer to write the next Juggernaut vs. Hulk showdown. Then, and only then will we have the real answer to our question. In the meantime, I'm dropping this thread.

Marvel has a extraordinary degree of screwing up character stories, and trying to fix them only to make them worse. cause in point with juggernaut.

does anyone at marvel ever pay attention to detail. no one there ever does there home work. trust me dude when i seen onslaught pull the gem outta juggs i was likE wtf juggs never had the gem to begin with i can go on and on with the screw ups but look at this guys site he explains them screw ups better then i

The gem isn't and never had been inside The Juggernaut's chest or any other part of his body. That was a rediculous concoction of the Onslaught storyline and was done for that issue and that issue alone to create awe of a crossover star. Like just about everything Onslaught related. I can't believe people actually think Cain Marko was walking around with a football-sized gem lodged under his sternum. That was the stupidest plot device I've ever seen. Marvel must have laced the pages of that issue with skin contact acid hits for people not to see how retarded what they were reading was.

His chest. I still can't believe something like that was actually written

The Onslaught Saga doesn't make much sense, your right, but I don't believe Juggernaut is immune to damage. It doesn't say that in any of his marvel profiles. He may even be more durable than Hulk, (he probably is,) But I highly doubt Juggernaut is immune to damage. If his writers would come out and say it, I would believe it.

The Hulk vs. Juggernaut Annual 2005 would be a great fight. No plot holes, just pure "smashing" action. But when does Marvel ever do what it's readers want... I still wan't my Marvel vs. DC fighting game. 🙁

Question; when does Onslaught absorb Nate Grey?

"when both characters have been victims of marvel mistakes and crap writing."

^^^ Another reason why this thread has lost purpose.

People placing themselves above Marvel. "Marvel Mistakes"? Bit presumptuous.
