I'll say it one more time: If God is truly all powerful, he can do ANYTHING--meaning that he can give us both free will and have it so there is no suffering in the world. How many times do I really have to say that? The Bible claims that God is powerful beyond human perception. If that is true, what I said should be possible.

And again you have failed to answer my question. I asked which prophecies from the Bible have come true.

I know that i'm not wrong, If i was wrong, then how could I feel Jesus? How could people be filled w/the Holy spirit? How could prayers be answered? I have absolutely nothing to lose, I love being a christian and serving and worshiping God. He has made me a better person, he's taught me to be more loving, forgiving, kind, gentel, he's taught me not to be selfish, to help others.

Prophecy: Noah prophesied about the Flood, it came.
Isaiha prophesied about the coming of Christ, he came.
Jesus prophesied that the temple would be destroyed and in 3 days would rise again, HE DID rise again.
prophesied for Israel of becoming a Nation, it is.
those are just a few.

I believe the story, and they have even found pieces of Noahs ark. Guess we just have diff of opinion there.

Noahs ark has been found, everyone says there was a man named Jesus he wasked on water was tortured and killed, many just believe he was just a man, Israel is a Nation.

I can't conceive of a God that would punish all of mankind because of one person's mistake. Maybe that makes me a weak-minded fool, but he is supposed to love all his creation.

I really don't understand how you can "feel Jesus". Like I said earlier, I was a Christian for a good portion of my life. I believed fully in God and everything in the Bible, I accepted it completely... I never "felt Jesus". My prayers were never answered. And I didn't pray only for things I wanted, I prayed every day no matter what. One day I just decided it was a big effing lie and quit putting up with my church's bullshit.

Atheism (though I don't entirely believe in the absence of a God) and Buddhism have taught ME quite a few things. Atheism has taught me to examine every situation for myself and to decide on my own what I think about every idea. Buddhism has given me the insight to look at things a different way than I did before, and the strength to be able to solve problems on my own.

Christianity, like any religion, is largely fabricated. In biblical times, nobody even thought Jesus was the messiah, he was more like a Buddha... Just a very wise philosopher. Furthermore, people are now starting to doubt that he even existed at all. There is no record of his existence outside the Bible and the other writings of the apostles that weren't used in the Bible. The modern Bible is merely a few carefully selected and edited texts that were selected from over 80 that existed at the time. The Roman Emperor Constantine was the first person to officially decide Jesus was the messiah and to make Christianity what it was today.

Like it or not, organized religion is just a form of mind control. Constantine made Christianity Rome's official religion because he knew it would be easier to get his people to do what he asked.

I concur with DR though, most, if not all Religions are a form of Mind-control to understand Nature, and to bring excitement to the masses. 😉

A few "scientists" have found a large, dark shape in a glacier on Mt. Sinai. This is not necessarily the Ark.

Its not a mind control to me, rather I attend church or not (which I do), I would still serve God. My focus is not on the people, what they say or do, it's on God.

I don't know your situation that you were in at the time, to NOT have ever felt God. I can feel his presence, when i walk in certain places, just like i can feel and evil presence. Although we can't go by feelings, you have to give a sacrifice of praise to God. May I ask you what religion or Doctrine you was at that time?

Well, just think about it. People are raised on it, from the time they're old enough to understand human speech. They are taught to believe in something that may or may not be true, and is, in fact, largely fabricated. Sounds like mind control to me.

Well, there are times when I feel what the Japanese call "Kensho", which is sort of like temporary enlightenment. Just a period of time when, doing something you love doing, you feel a natural high. I don't consider that feeling God though. And I feel fear too, but I don't consider that feeling evil. I was going to a Methodist church.

They'd beat me on my way to school.....I once tried to hide in a Church, and the Priest threw me out, callind me "devil-child! Be Gone!"
