Well, you rated it exactly the same as me, so need I say more?

*slaps head for being too occupied with work instead of Britney's intoxication after-effects involving soiling couches*

Let me guess:

"Got a little messy...Passed out on the couch and yawning."

That's the only time I permit you to use that photo in my thread!

I've Got That (Boom Boom)

From the title and list of guest stars alone, this doesn't look too promising. And I was right. With such a promising start (of this review process, at least) of In the Zone, this song has not only reverted to the old ways of chaotic spaghetti-like structure, but added the Ding Dong twins for a added decrease (oxymoron, but is that possible??) in effectiveness.

Britney needs to realize the less people on stage the better...and that includes Kevin. We don't need to see 30 people with microphones on stage singing to a beat that an 8-year old could program on a Casio Keyboard. Bad move, Britters.

Here's a hint for the future, Britney, if you want to survive my reviews: Rap will never get you higher than a 5.0! And it's all downhill from there.

Spears-O-Meter: 4.0/10

Current Standings
Don't Hang Up 8.0
Everytime 7.0
Breathe On Me 6.5
Shadow 6.0
Guilty 5.0
Outrageous 4.5
I've Got That (Boom Boom) 4.0
Early Mornin' 3.0

It would have been ok without them. They're annoying. They start the song off with "We're gonna go to the club and get drunk with Britney." which in my opinion is not a great start.
Knowing Britters tho, this is her way of flipping the bird again.

Flipping the bird at who? Her fans or the haters of the Ding Dong twins?

Girls And Boys

We get to experience a little bit of the Lords of Acid flair (geez, never thought I'd be saying that is this thread 😑.) on both the lyrics and rhythm of "Girls and Boys," and it kind of reminds me of the Genitorturers days for some reason.

Everything's out in the open on this album for Britney, it seems. She's taking on more serious issues and speaking in more grown-up sounding tones (note: "grown-up" is not the same word as "mature"😉
From Britney, we learn that "Bad girls and bad little boys won't last forever / Bad girls and bad boys will make love together"
That's great to know. But seriously, I'm somewhat partial to this type of music on occasion (when I don't feel like the roar of a guitar), so I even left this song on my Media Player for longer than usual...but not longer than Anticipating, of course.

Spears-O-Meter: 8.5/10

Current Standings
Girls and Boys 8.5
Don't Hang Up 8.0
Everytime 7.0
Breathe On Me 6.5
Shadow 6.0
Guilty 5.0
Outrageous 4.5
I've Got That (Boom Boom) 4.0
Early Mornin' 3.0

The lyrics are actually;

"Bad Girls and Bad little Boys, won't last forever
Good Girls and Good Little Boys will make love together"

You're getting the picture though. ITZ was a majorly personal project for Britney. She had a lot more input on the tracks and was actually permitted to release a song she had written herself. It is completely different to her other albums and was an extremely risky move for her to take. ITZ lost her a large percentage of her original fanbase, however it also bought in a completely new fanbase.
The Media was extremely critical, unable to accept the fact that the "Pop Princess" had grown up, calling the album "overtly sexual".

Well, the name In The Zone isn't exactly a great indicator that the album's going to be more mature. Over here, it's the commercial slogan for AutoZone. "Get in the zone - Au-to-Zone!"...so it says on the telly.

Sooo, did she lose you, or did you just accept and adapt?

I will confess, I didn't like the album the first time I listened to it. I then decided to give it another go, and it grew on me.

That sounds like something an airhead would do.

Oi! You want a good kicking or what?

Convert the binary code 11111111 into decimal!

255. You're dealing with an engineer here, so 😛

p.s. Every good engineer knows how to cheat.

Ok, so I picked an easy one.

if I knew how to make a sig outta that I would !

Ask Britrogue to make one for you. She'd be honoured!

Guess it wasn't as hard as I thought

Now if you post here a lot, everyone can see your sig with each post

(then I won't get beaten to a pulp each time I accidentally post that image)

yeah you cannot read the text very well but since that was the first time i ever attempted to make a sig it was fast work I'll fix it so they can read EVERY word clearly!

Very funny boys! lol

Chris' Hollywood Headlines March 2, 2006

Don't say I don't ever provide the breaking news around here, but there's hot gossip about Kevin's new woman. Britney's pissed, and the whole world's going to blow!

Also from the hot report:

Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline is doomed, a close relative claimed yesterday.

The pop princess wants to do the best thing for the sake of her four-monthold baby Sean Preston, according to Art Spears, a 52-year-old engineer.

Britney's cousin Art said: "I don't think Britney and Kevin are going to stay together.

"Her son is her life and she will obviously do what ever is best for him - but does that involve Kevin? I don't think so."

EXCLUSIVE! HERE'S THE NEW FLING (SHE'S FRENCH)!!!!
