Boring, boring !! Is everybody finished with insulting each other ? We can discuss the fight, or we can call each other names.
I, for those who care, choose to discuss the battle. But everything I have to say about it, has been said a million times, so I will just give my opinion one more time: Spider-Man wins. Rather easily. I can give lots of reasons, but I will give only one: he only needs one good shot. Not two. One. I don't have the faintest idea how Batman will avoid a punch from a superfast, extremely agile hero like Spider-Man. He can't ! Unless he's very, very lucky and Spider-Man fights like a 8-year old schoolgirl.
I don't mind if anybody disagrees (that's what discussing is all about) but if you're convinced that Batman has a good chance of beating Spider-Man, tell me HOW he would do it.
"He will find something, because he is Batman" is rubbish, farfetched and not good enough for me. I want solid proof.

No. Certainly not. Anything you say can and will be dodged by Spider-Man thanks to his spider-sense, that will warn him of any danger. This sense is so fast and accurate that it helps him avoiding bullets.
Anything that Batman throws, will not have half the speed of a bullet.
He can win, Batman, of course he can. Why not. But not with his gadgets.
O yeah, a "flame-retardant cape" ? How is that supposed to help Batman beat Spider-Man ? Spider-Man isn't going to barbecue Batman, you know.

wait, batman is suppoesd to be very good at martial arts and knows how to defend himself.sure he doesn't have superpowers in the sense that he has nothing out of the ordinary but he has got experience, loads of it.Spideys got that too, but the training MUST have taught BATS SOME GOOD.At least he will not get killed...even if he gets hurt.bad.
Plus remember, he know almost every type of fighting skill there is, so they cannot possibly all prove futile against some spiderpowered human.
And lastly if batman knows he is going to get defeated, he wouldn't indulge in a fight,jhe's smarter than going to fightsome one that can possibly kill him.

this is still going? ok tell me this. Batman is a good martial artist...and hes smart....so he wins. yeah ok

Peter may not be as smart as Bruce but there is no way in hell Bat's could think fast enuf on his feet to beat Spidey if the two decided to fight on a drop of a hat.
have you ever seen Spiderman fight? combine his insane speed and reflexs with his Spidersense and Bat's dosent have a prayer.

Does it even matter if spidey wins?!look that will neither compliment spiderman as a superhero and nor will it degrade him.It will simply lay down the fact that Spidey is a better figher than bats.So what if Bat did get defeated by Spidey, just the fact the he is a mere human up against some superhuman and still give him a hard time is enough for Bats.He is human after all and far exceeds teh human capabilities.One defeat with Spidey ain't gonna bring the bat down...even IF that ever happened.

Finally, somebody is talking sense. Of course it doesn't matter ! Batman hasn't to prove jack sh*t, he's cool and impressive enough without beating or fighting Spider-Man. Everybody knows that, or should know that ! The fact that he is just human and can hang out with the best, should speak for itself...
I never understood why some people always want to "prove the manhood of Batman" by in some vs-threads letting him fight some opponent he just can't beat, or barely. And then always the same reply : "He will find something". No he won't, not always.
So let the man some dignity, he's not a clown who only lives to amuse you by trying to beat overpowered enemies. He's one of the best DC has to offer !
But in a direct fight against Spidey, he will go down. And there's no shame in that, because a human normally doesn't stand a chance against Spider-Man, no matter how advanced they are in martial arts.
