Spider-Man vs Batman

first of all of course Bat's is great, Ive said this again and again but remember he is a detective yes a great fighter compared to human foes but this is a comic book forum were Bat's is pitted against characters with insane abilities.

now if this were say Batman vs Bruce Lee in a straight fight then you may have a disscusion, but remember Batman uses his brain before brawn and were not talking about who is smarter this is just a plain and simple vs thread.

not to mention even if the two had nenver met before and suddenly ran into each other would they even fight?
Ive never seen either act hot headed and rush into a fight with a stranger

What a long little discussion I seem to have wondered into here. Twenty some pages and youd think everyone would have decided by now.

Character-wise Batman and Spiderman are both very simular when it comes to there most important traits. They are both driven (to the point of obsesion), very intelligent, and very stubborn.

Neither would kill the other opponent, even if there was something that was forceing the issue as being heros they would both die themselves before crossing that line.(which eliminates all the one punch bats is down stuff, and bats is quick enough that it would take more then that in any case.....although mabey some broken arms.....)

So if its a quick fight (and who would put the effort into making a crossover pamphlet) Its probably Spidey

Any longer my vote is for Batman. Because when given the chance Batman will fight dirty (like bluffing to kill innocents.....or hell, he'd probably just go kidnap aunt May.....It seems all spideys villians have tried this at some point.....

If you think that, Ambush Bug, then you have the wrong idea when it comes to Batman. Batman wouldn't threaten to kill innocent people just to win a fight. He's the Caped Crusader, " " on Crusader. To help, to aid, to prevent! Spider-Man has the agility, but not the weaponry. Spider-Man has been defeated by strange weaponry before. But Spidey does have the spider-sense, so he could sense an impending attack. Batman can hide in the shadows and wait to attack, but again Spidey's spider-sense would aid him to avoid it. Hard choice, but I would have to go with Batman. Though I like Spider-Man, Batman has just too many tricks up his sleeve for the wall-crawler to avoid.

Batman and spiderman have met twice and therefor they even quicly fight each other well no fight just some pushes and arm twisting

I know theve met before but that wasnt in continuity.

and Spiderman would kick the crap out Bat's in a random fight

24 pages man, Man I sure Batman fighting Spiderman will sell out any area in the US and might be the biggest fight in history lol.

But I be on Batman side, I more of a Bat fan. And I think Wayne's knowlage of 124 arts might win

Bats has done well with guys with super powers like Mr Freeze.

Im sorry to say that Batman would get his butt kicked.... i mean lets think about it. he can fight in the air possibly 3 times before he runs out of grappling hooks. Spiderman would also be way too quick for him. Spiderman has too many advantages over batman a main one would be the spider sense. if i had to choose between, id say spider man, an agile teen over Batman, a fat old man with a utilty belt.

Batman is not Fat, he is in perfect shape for this match. Bats has almost anything in that untilty belt and it will be the key for a win over Spiderman.

IMO, Spider-Man has this battle, not just because he has his super human abilites, but because he's had experiences with people who use such gadgets and have used deadly tactics on him before. Though Batman is in top condition for a man his age in strength, agility, fighting skills, high tech weaponary and also not to mention he's obviously an intellectual genius, Spider-Man has faced foes, and sometimes defeated them, like the Green Goblin and the Kingpin who both are somewhat similar to Batman in several ways like intelligents, hand to hand combat, and inventive tech weaponary. Though Batman may have beaten super human villians before, he's never faced someone like Spider-Man, that I know of, before. Because Spider-Man is so different from everyone else, Batman will have a hard time trying to keep up with him, Spider-Man will always be one step ahead of him.

spiderman handsdown. batman doesnt have super human strenghth, agility, a sixth sense(no he cant see dead people) to detedct danger before it happens, he cant climb walls, websling, all he has are bataranges which to cut the webbing, andd those bolo's, and a big car that never gets into traffic.

sure he could create a solvent to disolve webbing, since hes a genius,

ah but you all forget, spiderman is a genius too. he did make everything in is outfit, and so he could think up something too.
