Spider-Man vs Batman

Started by Red Superfly49 pages

Peter Parker is smart, but Batman is smarter. It's a pretty even fight.

Those of you who clearly don't know what you are talking about (i.e. the ones who say "Batman sucks he don't have superpowers duh!"😉 then you should go away and die in a corner somewhere and let the grown-ups talk.

Anyone who writes-off Batman so dismissively is a tool. Go do some research on Batman, the guy has beaten Superman and is an integral member of the Justice League. Given a good writer, Batman could concievebly beat Spider-Man - he's actually beaten much more powerful foes.

I can't make my mind up on this one. I can't see either one coming out on top. It's a very, very fair fight.

how would him beatin spiderman play out in your mind then

i didnt know he beat superman...what he do, get kryptonnite

he didnt just beat super man....he beat the whole damn justice league

That's basically what I want to know as well, if he beat Superman, he obviously used Kryptonite.

I know Batman, and I know Spider-Man, that's why I really can see no way for Batman to defeat Spider-Man.

Batman can take strength, speed, intelligence, superior reflexes, higher durability, lots of experience and a web, but he can not take this all at the same time !! Unless he's got some spideronyte in his utility belt somewhere.

It's my imagination probably...but it is not impossible for the writers to write a 'spideronyte' into the story! And maybe since batman has researched spidey he could find something like that.
Well, with or without it batman wins.

I hope so, because I don't won't Batman ending up in a wheelchair. And this time forever 😛.

Um, guys, people think that Spider-Man can do anything. He can't. He has all these powers, but he doesn't necessarily use them all at the same time.

Spider-Man regularly gets beaten by gadgets. Loo how many times he has been busted open by a well aimed Goblin bat-blade, or pumpkin bomb. He's been almost crushed by The Kingpin - who is only human, and a heckuva lot slower than Batman. Spidey has been beaten by very human characters before.

Spider-Man can't dodge everything. An irregular barrage of attacks by Batman would eventually hit him. People think he's able to dodge everything. He can dodge some things, but not everything.

His fighting experience is nowhere near as extensive as Batman's. Batman's utility belt couldmean he has a tazer, or some sort of electrical charge, which he could use against spider-mans web shooters - this is what Batman does best - he always pulls out something from the hat to surprise the enemy. He is constantly making the enemy switch tactics. You can't out-play Batman. Sorry Spidey.

Batman is also a master strategist, and would probably try and wear down Spider-Man. Spider-Man has proven to be quite an easy target after being roughed up a little. Spidey is a "never give up" kinda guy - but Batman's will is stronger, having being a merely human superhero, his will would have been forged like iron over the years. Spider-Man would know when to quit, Batman wouldn't.
Spider-Man is my all time favourite hero, but at least I'm not arrogant enough to think Batman wouldn't put up an almighty fight.

If it weren't for the fact that Batman beat the Justice League and is THE MAN, I'd definitely choose Spider-Man. But, as it stands, Batman has ALWAYS pulled something out of the bag to turn the tables. His greatest ally is underestimation. Spider-Man has underestimated all too many people and paid for it big time.

Yeah u guys make spidey seem like superman!
If he was all that great how come he always gets defeated by villans?

Well, in my opinion, THAT IS what makes Spider-Man so great.

Spidey is so great because we can put him up against Batman and have a good arguement over who would win. Two well-rounded, well designed characters going at it. Both have MANY weaknesses (as opposed to Superman's suck-ass cop-out single weakness), that's what makes it debatable.

One thing that would really make me smile, and that would be to see Batman and Spidey gangbang Supes all over Metropolis - God I hate Superman and his 1950's haircut.

Batman beat the Justice League

I know this is off topic, but when did he beat the justice league? When did they even fight?? I must've missed that one! Oh and i still think that although its Batman, being the man he is, he still couldnt beat Spiderman when it came down to it

first, his spidersense is always downplayed, and dumbed down by writers for bad plot devices.

heck this hsouldnt be a fight over who would win, but a fight over who could kick superman's ass the hardest.

Spiderman would hand Batman his ass on a silver platter. With a side of cheese.

mmmmmm, cheese

(Here we go again 😉)

1. Does anybody really think Batman has a chance beating Spider-Man mano a mano ? No gadgets, no web, just man against man ? Batman will probably surprise Spider-Man in the beginning, but after a few minutes, playtime is over and Spider-Man will make Batman eat his cape.

Again, Spider-Man is lots and lots stronger, waay faster, is at least as experienced (yes he is), has far superior reflexes and, like this isn't enough, has his spider-sense.

But let's assume (I'm a nice guy) Batman actually manages to hit/punch Spider-Man a few times. So ? Spider-Man has taken punches from Rhino, from Venom, Carnage, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Sandman... and he still keeps coming. Batman just doesn't have the strength to knock Spider-Man unconsciousness. Sorry, but that's a fact.

2. Let's throw in the gadgets/weapons/utility belt. Can somebody please explain me what and how Batman will use one of his weapons against Spider-Man ? Do not forget, Spider-Man is famous for dodging and avoiding attacks.

3. Now, when Batman comes up with a decent plan, well, that's another story. Then he certainly has a chance (no guarantee !) to beat Spider-Man.

But, I'm real anxious to see what kind of masterplan it will be, because he'll need a good plan !!

Sorry Batfans, but to give Spider-Man a good beating, you need superpowers. I didn't make the rules, I just follow them.

As much as this may be removing everybody from the whole fanatasy of this, I'd say it would come down to who was in charge of the production....Marvel or DC.

Basically, you can make a valid argument that either would win. Spidersense is a huge, HUGE asset when dealing with a mere set of gadgets, but of course it is a very formidable set. Also, Spidey relies on his wits a lot, and I think Batman has the edge on him there. But you certainly can't count out the super strength and reflexes of Spidey.

I'd call it a draw if anything. Its just too close to call.

1.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!Without his web and the spidey sense, Parker is just like another street thug that Batman will wipe his ass with!
2. No I can't tell you, I'm not Batman!
3.Batman always has a backup plan...if this time he doesn't than it'll probably be due to his hubris.

aff again? batman dies that simple
