The OFFICIAL "For those who've seen Revolutions"

🙁 hello everyone

i'm sure we will see references to neo and others in TMO, or hints of him....
like someone says "i'm sure i saw a man flying around her a few days ago"..... something like that

🙁

To all you people who don't like it. It is of course YOUR perogative. If you choose to believe that you have hit the bottom of the rabbit hole, then so be it. That is the whole point of the movies, you can BELIEVE whatever you want to BELIEVE.

Oh shit, what was that word what the Oracle used at the end? Oh yes, it was Believe wasn't it? Thought so.

*looks at signature and wipes tears from eyes*

i believe!!

I had really mixed feelings about the movie. I didn't feel like all of my questions were answered. I think I went in with too many expectations, too. I will be going back to see it again, so that may clear some things up for me. Having read some of your comments has helped. I still feel that it was open-ended, and there's always a chance of another movie eventually.

jedi, wanna answer my question that after 10 pages still has yet to be adressed, that is, the question as to who SERAPH really is, and what he's done to get a reputation w/the mero an smiddy?
since all anybody else cares about is bashing it so bad.

i still say there will be a game or something of the sort (another anime?) on a prequal/background of seraph 🙂 there were a few hints in the film 🙂

and still nobody has an answer? hmm, well, i guess thats the only thing they forgot to wrap up, seraph is a werid character, isn't he, he kinda looks like one of my friends, lol.

Who is inside Smiths body in the final fight scene with Neo. Right after he takes over Neo's body the other Smith says in a really crazy way, "Is it over"! I have a feeling it was Merv. That is something he would say. The oracle was also in there because she said, "Everything that has a beginning has an end". Or is the way Smith acted the opposite of the way Neo(smith) felt after being taken - that of supreme confidence knowing it is a game over situation. Balance the equation.

oracle

Both mero and smith pursued the oracle. The oracle said herself that seraph has been protecting her for a very long time. The confusing part is when it was said that seraph protects that which is most important. Which that was refering to what they were all trying to achieve...peace. There are many things (programs and people) that were important to achieving peace. Seraph was there to protect these people when needed. Thus the major "purpose" of Seraph was to protect the chance for peace. What is mentioned in the movies was the exact role seraph played before he was an exile. I am sure he was protecting something then that was also important. Which one possible explanation is that the oracle is also an exile and before she was an exile she would have refered to as god, considering she helped create the universe that is the matrix. Which seraph might have been a protecter for her then too. Which then it would be very apropriate to have someone named after the highest angel if there job was to protect the mother of the matrix. Calling Seraph "wingless" was most likely meant as an insult, just computer slang for "exile".

The smith that neo brawled with was the oracle. Smith was confident because he knew what was going to happen. But he could not see past the choices he did not understand, and once he got to the point he nolonger understood, then he was scared.

Hello everybody,

I was thinking about importance of the girl, Sati. Obviously, she is in the movie not without a reason. Probably that is the first time program like this is created in The Matrix, and it has to with love - a human emotion. Must be a part of Oracle's plan, since Sati ended up being with Oracle after leaving Mobil ave. Then I found this (.../forums/showthread.php?threadid=12746&perpage=20&pagenumber=1):

"This we get from ETM:
Ghost: Can you tell me what happened to you?
Oracle: Two programs that I trusted sold the termination code of my original shell to the Merovingian.
Ghost: Why did they do that?
Oracle: For love. For the life of their child.
Ghost: You knew about it, and yet you let it happen?
Oracle: I had to.
Ghost: Why?
Oracle: Because the child is important. I can't tell you why, but I believe one day, the child will change both our world and your world forever".

This seems to be the key to understanding Revoltuions. How did Sati change both worlds?

- did she change Matrix to be "more human"? Then what?
- did she help Oracle to make choices, undestand human nature?
- or it has to do with Smith absorbing Sati, Oracle knew that would happend, so that was the plan?

And then the ending. Sati created the sunrise for Neo, for next Neo?

I think the only movie that has ever made my cry...has been The Matrix: Revolutions. why? becuase Trinity dies at the end during her and Neo's trip to the Machine City...she gets impaled 4 times by rebar and Neo is there...having been blinded from a battle in the Real world with Bane...can't even see her...They loved each other so much and it was so sad to see her die...but not in pain because Neo was there to hold her as she left. I wish he could have been able to see her but, he did...only with his "fire" vision (I don't know what to call his vision when he was blind, so fire will suffice). He let her go with a kiss and probably the most pastionate kiss they ever shared, albit a short one, but that doesn't matter. Then to watch Neo battle Smith one last time...and die but not before destroying Smith...hurt just as much...but when he sees that angel at the end, it made it all better because he's going to get to be with Trinity again...and now he'll have his eyes back.

I really feel that Revolutions was a let down....too many questions have been left un answered - but...it is rumored that there is a 2nd game....The Matrix Online. Not sure what kind it is but hopefully this will put to rest a few things.

Ok, there are still questions lingering.

1) Who is Merovingian and what is his purpose?

2) Who is Persphone and what is her purpose?

3) Who is Seraph and what is his purpose?

4) Who is Saite and what is her purpose?

5) Is the Oracle really the Mother of the Matrix?

6) Is Neo dead?

Ok, Merovingian is pretty much a controller...he controlls what programs are in the matrix and what aren't...he has now become what looks like someone who will keep unwanted programs from deletion by exiling them into Mobil Ave(Limbo) until they come up with a purpose. Unfortunetaly, to disprove popular belief...Mero was never a "The One"...or a resemblence of a "The One", Mero is basically a traifficter for programs and the trainman is the transport to and from exile or deletion. Whose to say that Merovingian is not actually the Mother of the Matrix...Neo already made the mistake of thinking Trinity was a man when meeting her...why can't the same assumption be made about the Mother of the Matrix, we've already seen his ability to create code in the matrix at will(orgasmic cake).
Pershpone is the woman that kisses Neo...now, is her purpose that to **** up Mero's goal and to bring unrest...is she Mero's opposite(ie. Neo v. Smith) is she Mero's balance?
Seraph's purpose seemed to at one time be that of a body guard for Mero...hense why Mero ask's him if he's here for the bounty. It seems though that Seraph has become a rouge program out to protect other programs from Mero and exile and from deletion all together. He protects "what matters most" ... what matters most isn't the oracle but the life span of the Matrix. We all know that Seraph is more than capable of defeating Agents...He's beaten Smith....the question is though, What is Seraphs connection to 'The One" that being Neo and his predecessors or was Seraph once a "The One". Seraph is a rouge program...an elite program with acess to backdoors, hense in Reloaded he can move in between programs in the hallway with out the key maker but what is his connection to his protecting of the Oracle and Saite.
Saite now I've read some debates on whether or not she is the new architect...I think though that Saite is the new Merovingian, I say new because at the end...the Matrix has fixed itself, leading to believe this is the 7th(5 before Neo and Neo's make 6 total) version without any anomolies, thus being the most prestine environment. Saite has the ability to create code as well, he ability to make that sunrise at the end. Or is she the new architect, I don't think so...with what the architect says in reference to the Oracle asking if he will free the people that want to get out, "Do I look human?" Does he mean 'look human' by meaning, he cannot lie? Is what the architect said a complete lie to being with? Saite is NOT the 7th coming of the new "The One".
Ok....is Neo dead? According to Morpheus, "The body cannot live without the mind" but can the mind live without the body? Possibly...I think the Neo's new form could be as an Agent, why an Agent? An agent unlike Smith and his accomplisses in M1 and M2 but an Agent of help, maybe one to get people to want to be free? Who knows...they don't give us enough information.
Who is the Mother of the Matrix? Well...by all accounts, the Oracle is the mother, only because she's the one who wants to unbalance everything that is already going wrong. The question is though, is this Oracle, the same Oracle in the other 5 versions, or does she change as well...to start fresh again. Also, if you think about it, the Oracle is a program, what carried Neo away, could have been the Oracle in her machince form. The Oracle is also somehow connected to the architect ... he being the father and she being the mother..but I don't buy that cuz if thats the case...then listening to what the architect says about the other 5 matrices, 5 zions, 5 The Ones..this present Oracle wouldn't expect Neo to change his path...this is why Smith was created...becuase Neo changed the path that the other "The One's" made and this had to be fixed. The machines needed something to balance out Neo and his attempt to stop the machines from killing Zion [again] but instead, when Neo is morphed into Smith, this gives the machines the oportunity to delete Smith...This brings up the next following scession of questions.
Zion, what happened to the other 5 Zions...If Zion is in fact the 6th version...how old is Zion?, are the same people always the ones who are freed and in Zion? Why was this seemingly integral part of the story in M2, left completely untouched in M3....

I really don't think that M3 was all it could be...something has been left to be desired...not to mention that the at the first matrix....I went too, the audience errupted into applause at the end...at M2, there were applauses but not as many....M3, I heard like 5 people applaude...The Wach. Bros, let us down on this one.

who knows.. neo might even help to govern the matrix. Or perhaps they can take his 'mind' and give him a new body in reward for his sacrifice. I'm glad it ended the way it did though, neo and trin dying. Great choice. I dont know how people are byatching that burly brawl was better than the revo fight scene between smith and neo, I mean they freakin paused the rainfall and blew out city blocks. shit was like dragonball lol. Loved it

well you dudes really dont understand the maytrix do you.its not entirely about neo or trinity.neo does not die by the way coz we see the lghts he was seeing as he was led by the machines.l liked the movie thats for sure.the producers like the movie to leave ppl talking.tell me, what would you want m4 to show?what happens to neo and?there is really nothing else left coz the truce is there, smith is dealeted, zion is saved so what else is still hanging?open your minds and see ppl.
this was the movie and what a great ending.everyone thot it would end with the matrix dead.well who could have thot it would end with co-existance.hahaha.and the spoliers did not even undestand the movie.

What happened to Cain and Abel?

well let me tell u one thing for sure.zeon did fall 5 times before.now it didnt coz there was an anomaly that developed, smith.the machines whre going to be destroyed by smith eventually coz he was coping himself all over the matrix.with neo making the truce to kill smith, the machines spared zion.so thas the last zion.as to if the characters of zion where always the same thats errelevant coz a face is just a presentation of the mind.the programe that the ppl in zion got the past 5 times was the same so they relived the life 5 times but thanx to neo and smith, they dont have to again.

People want an explantion for Seraph...but how can you explain a character when there has been no back story for them.

What we know about seraph is this. He protects what is is important, not necessarily the Oracle or the little girl.

We know he could have worked for Merovingian at one point.

We know he is an exiled program.

We've heard that he's fought Smith a few times to protect the Oracle. (is this in Animatrix, or ETM?)

We know that he has some kind of connection with the Oracle beyond that or protecting her.

We don't know enough to explain him, you can't explain something with facts that aren't there.

Hm, I think that maybe the Wach. Bros. don't even have answers for a few things, they could...being as how they are great writes but you never know.
