its bn meant in its destructive power able to lvl mountains, cities and small planetoids.

more specifically I say in the power he contains in general

Anyway Cyke doesn't have cl100 blasting power.

I didn't mention it because it seemed obvious. Why would someone who wields energy blasts that can deal cl 100 level damage be measured by their lifting capacity? How does that make sense...

Cykes blasts do kinetic damage so you can compare damage output with a punch.

The rating system is from the handbooks and refers to people like Thor and Gladiator, not those like Thing, classic Colossus etc.

srank has already admitted that he's ignoring the official meaning of the term cl 100, just so that he can make Wolverine feats sound better.

I'm using the official meaning, just not the official rankings... because they are bullshit.

The rating system in the hand books is a 1-7 ranking system, 7 in strength representing a character having the ability to lift in excess of 100 tons. The hand books are rife with with mistakes, which is why don't except them as canon. If a character is shown to be able to lift more than 100 tons consistently on panel, then that character is cl 100.

Again, cl 100 refers to people like Thor and Gladiator, not those like Thing, classic Colossus etc.

Class 100 refers to any character that can lift more than 100 tons. Period.

Then by all means, show me the handbook rankings that have them listed as cl 100's.

The handbooks only gave cl status to guys like Thor, Gladiator, Hulk etc...the books specifically rated guys like Thing and Classic Colossus as below cl 100.

What does cl 100? It means the character can lift 100 tons or more. If a character can lift 100 tons or more and isn't list as cl 100, then the Handbook is wrong. The Handbook is wrong a lot, which is why we don't rely on it here. Comics trump Handbooks, in the comics Thing, Ares, Wonderman can lift more than 100 tons and as such they are all cl 100 characters. Simple.

STRENGTH

The maximum ability to lift (press) weight over one's head (under optimal conditions)
1 = Weak: cannot lift own body weight.
2 = Normal: able to lift over own body weight, up to twice own body weight.
3 = Peak human: able to lift over twice own body weight, up to 800 lbs.
4 = Superhuman: Able to lift over 800 lbs., up to 25 tons. This range includes "enhanced human" (800 lbs to 2 tons), Class 10 (2 tons to 10 tons) and Class 25 (10 tons to 25 tons).
5 = Superhuman: Able to lift over 25 tons, up to 75 tons. This range includes Class 50 (up to 50 tons) and Class 75 (up to 75 tons).
6 = Superhuman: Able to lift over 75 tons, up to 100 tons.
7 = Incalculable: Able to lift in excess of 100 tons.

Wolverine and Captain America (and in the most recent print he was a 6!) are the only two heroes rated a 7 / 7 on the Marvel Skill chart. They are above Shang-Chi, DD, Iron Fist and Elektra. They are even above Stick, Gamora and Mandarin. The only other sevens are a handful of Wolverine villains... anyone fell like that is the be all and all of the Marvel skill discussion?

Good for you, too bad that the handbooks specifically reserve the cl 100 ranking for guys like Thor, Gladiator and the Hulk....it ranks people like Thing and Classic Colossus as below cl 100.

Can a mod come and ban this troll please?

Cl 100 means the character can lift 100 tons or more. If a character can lift 100 tons or more, they are a Cl 100. An arbitrary Handbook entry is irrelevant, especially since we don't consider Handbook entries a reliable source on KMC.

u do know bio's are not sufficient in forum arguments right?

they once put a 100 tonner in the 30 ton range. They are meant for a general guide for writers and readers to give a rough idea of they placement.

the class 7 is for character who exceed 100 tons and can no longer be measured.

Class 6 are those from 75 to 100 tonners irrc

u are now just trolling and making excuses if u look at the bio key u will see it.
The Thing, Wonderman, Namor, Ironman are all low 100 tonners maybe not earth shakers or movers but that is irrelevant.

... yet, somehow, Cyclops is a class 100 to you.

If that was what it truly meat, then guys like Thing and Classis Colossus would be listed as cl 100's, but they weren’t.

Looking at who actually received the cl 100 ranking, it's obvious that it means those of the highest strength level...IOW, guys like Thor, Hulk, Gladiator, Abomination, Mangog etc etc etc

The class system is from the handbooks, that makes the handbooks relevant to a discussion of sed class system.

I think its time for you to find yourself another site if you truly believe that crap.
I hear comicvine might be a better fit for u

If you can actually read, you'll notice that only guys like Thor and the Hulk get the cl 100 ranking.
