Where do you guys rank Sarutobi(3rd)?
Sarutobi was better than the first and second put together: fact.
Madara compared the first to the great sage. However, he was not around for Sarutobi's hey-day. he doesn't know what a Sarutobi prime is capable of.
Sarutobi Prime would be SS, easily. On par with Current madara, imo.

Really? Don't remember that happening.
Ok, looking it over, it actually wasn't stopped.
But the ANBU did slice it's leg, hit it with lightning, then drop a giant earth pot-lid on it.
It seems noticeably above the other giant summons.
Here's a question- is a purely physical threat, even one like that, really worth an S-? And if so, should we bump up Animal Path?

Always.Man...I used to like Hiruzen.
Lol. PG's butthurt over the tier listings has made you dislike Hiruzen?
I understand where he's coming from with respect to featless Mito. vin

S- is too high for it, but it could be at the bottom end of A+ due to its ability to split off into separate dogs and damage soak. I'm fine with A though.
Of course we should bump up Animal Path. It can summon the other 5 Paths and Konan. 313
So it looks like we're looking at A+ for the exceptional summons, S- for the sage mode using toad elders (as they do use genjutsu), A for the merely big or ones with lesser special abilities...
Hm, where should we put the Clam? I mean, it's got very little in the way of offense but it's genjutsu is great.

I'm not counting that ^^
