I thought the consensus was around 5 minutes for Tobi, considering Konan said that he could go inatangible for around 5 mins.

I assumed Itachi was willing to sacrifice the eye because he was dead anyways. Plus, he was pretty positive the tech would work. Again, this was in a battle situation. I really don't see the uses of Izanagi/Izanami outside of them. It would be pretty careless imo.

Yeah, but Tobi was shown ripping off the mask right before the explosions started, implying that he used Izanagi right then and there.

He said he wanted to show Kabuto the error in trying to be someone else, and clinging to their power.
Izanami itself isn't a battle tech though. The very reason as to why it was outlawed was due to the fact that in battle, opponents had a chance of escaping it, thus it wasn't safe for battle, never mind the fact that Itachi had a lot of trouble creating the loop in the first place. One can then deduce that Izanami can be and was used outside a battle scenario, and that it was actually designed for out-of-battle situations. Same could apply for Izanagi.

^ Must have missed that. I guess 10 mins. then.

I could see your point with Izanami, since I guess it's more to make people learn a lesson. Izanagi still seems like a waste outside of battle. What outcome would you really be trying to fix outside of a downhill battle? That would be worth losing an eye over?

I had to have my morning cereal to get the energy to continue to deal with your stupidity. Now, where was I?

You have the cognitive abilities of a small rodent. Stop acting condescending, unlike when I do it, you doing it is not justified.

Once again, PIS.

Okay, let's be real here.

Your argument for omnipotence hinges on your misinterpretation of the words of a character, Tobi, who is by no means infallible. You argue that it operates on a beyond omniversal scale, despite not even having a feat on the planetary level that we know of, based only on Tobi's words. I point out the obvious, that since Izanagi has never come nearly as close to doing what you claim, there is no PIS because there is no precedent. Flash and Green Lantern being beaten up by Deathstroke is PIS because both forgot their FTL speed and vast advantage in power. See, those things have been seen to be true on numerous occasions. Flash and GL>>>Deathstroke. However, Izanagi being an omniversal+ power has never been so much as implied, so Izanagi not being used in that fashion isn't PIS.

Does any of this make sense to you?

It's funny how you don't know jack shit about arguing.

To be blunt, I know far more than you do. Although really, I am under the impression you are trolling now. Human beings can't be as stupid as you come across while being able to survive.

Exactly, glad you looked it up.

I know what PIS is, you clearly don't. You have a tiny tiny brain, and are a tiny tiny person.

Madara has infinite chakra, what are you whining about?

Yet he clearly can't apply his everlasting chakra to make his Jutsu infinitely strong, you are giving him an ability he hasn't shown.

Were what you are implying true, Madara could have infinitely amped his Susano'o to be completely immune to the Kages, yet we clearly saw that they could make gains at breaching it.

You are wrong.

Logic.

Please. If logic were a prison, you'd be my prison b!tch, b!tch.

That fight made me want to throw up. Deathstroke out-willed a GL? Get the **** outta here!

Not to mention, willpower does not help you defend against a GL ring!

I second this. I mean EV is taking what Tobi said way, way, out of context. Tobi was merely talking about changing the outcome of that battle, not reality as a whole. If this were true, why would he need bijuus to create the eye of the moon plan? he could just change reality itself.

Jesus, why did this guy have to show up while I'm on vacation? I like...want to troll him and stuff but can't stay here all day doing it.

He hasn't posted in a couple of days.

Since you were also so helpful -- I'm being ironic -- here you go:

想像を生命へと具現化する術 - "A Jutsu which turns imagination into reality."

I had never seen EV post anything until a couple of days ago.

He'll come back soon enough I'd wager.

Reading the Japanese chapter you realize that it's implied that the Bijuū who were created from the Jūbi's chakra weren't originally sinister creatures.

In fact I'm not even sure why I read the English translations when the Japanese "spoilers" come out quicker.

^ Must be nice to know Japanese. lol I should have tried to learn while I was stationed there.

I learned it on my spare time back in high school because I wanted to be able to read Dragon Ball in its original "canon" form. That said, I'm definitely no expert.

Geez, all I did in high school was play video games and hit on girls. lol

I bet you failed both classes ;-)

I got exemplary marks sir! lol

Loving the drama in the thread btw, no matter how completely off base the New guy got (not even the sage is capable of a billionth of what he suggested lol) but a decenting opionion is always welcome in my book

Kang stomps Doom.

Of coarse there are exceptions to the rule.
