Main issue with the Hyuuga's is that they're so traditional they they're not adapting. All of their techs and tricks are based on their eyes and fighting style, so much that I can't even remember seeing one use any other kind of Jutsu.

Same to be said for Ino-Shika-Cho really.

I think it's a matter that they're naturally really good at their home areas, their areas have a pretty good variety of uses (so they can expand their flexibility some by studying different clan techniques, like Hyuga doing the pressure-palm for range), and branching out into new jutsu schools is an inefficient use of the time.

The types who have the talent to use multiple jutsu branches are the exceptions, not the rule.

Although Ino did learn some med jutsu.

Ino is also a genius...sort of. She had top marks in the academy along with Sasuke. So learning other stuff is apparently easy for her.

Edit - Wait, I think that was anime based, only. Can any one confirm?

Confirmed, at least by implication.

Edit: Haha, pages afterward have a kunoichi instructor teaching the young kunoichi about espionage, and knowing how to pass off as a normal woman. **** you Kishi.

Well...I'm pretty sure what I'm remembering was straight up anime-only. But it was "tied for top-marks" with Sasuke.

Well...not so fast and "dats sexist" call.

That was a legit thing that old-school Japanese female ninjas did. They would pose as regular women (whores, artisans, etc) and assassinate the shit out of unsuspecting people (or collect invaluable intel). They had a greater advantage at doing that over their male counterparts if they were especially well trained in their chosen "blend in" profession. That's not really sexist, at all, of Kishimoto to have something like that in his manga: that's legit hardcore history.

Maybe not sexist but in a series where Kishi either kills off all his good females or turns potentially good ones into mommies, that panel was pretty fuuny.

I think the sexist thing is that shes trying to teach them how to pass off as normal women by teaching them flower arranging.

Because you know..... girls.

Would be useful if more than 1% of ninjas did conventional assassinations, whats that only ANBU or Root types?

Would you rather her be teaching them to vote so it'll all be politically correct Neph?

This society has proven it does indeed have people with a sexist view of women. If ninja can take advantage of this view by simply doing something girly then more power to them.

Yes.

Is anyone going to bring up that kakashi might be peirced at the end of the chapter or thats just kishi trolling us and thats just going to be tobi pulling a sharigan trick on him or just simply a clone.

Also btw i was thinking i wonder if tobi ever got in a fight in the past with other people while kakashi was teleporting somthing in the other dimension then next thing you know it, tobi sees deidara explosion.
Or gets hits by the nail from pain when kakashi teleported it..

Or better yet tobi was in his own world when all of sudden get hits in the face by deidara arm that kakashi teleported.

I think, if you're trying to pass off as a noble girl it's needed. Not just for arranging, but 'language of flower' stuff, pick up what noble girls are saying via flower arrangements, and so on.

You dumb ****ing animal, you should cut the head off a chicken and use it as a butt plug.

I was laughing at the fact that we never see that side of ninja fagatronics, despite it allegedly existing, while also singing a dirge for the lack of ninja'y activities in general, it being ignored in favor of hugesplosions.

Are you like, legitimately retarded?

DDM mentioned it as being sexist first. I just called out the sexist part. And its not like I made a big deal out of it. It isn't a big deal. Just slightly amusing.

He mentioned me being sexist, fatgirl.

Which means he looked and recognized that someone could identify it as sexist, queef-face.

It is not sexist.

Like it or not, there is in fact behavior that is considered "standard" for genders, particularly around that time period (Sorta, there is anachronism at work in the setting, but the culture seems to be predominantly Edo period or some other old Japanese period, **** Japan's history).
