Well, Kakashi did train Sasuke intensively. Increased the dude's speed and taught him Chidori. Besides, he is about team-work iirc, so he probably trained them to work well with each other, unlike Gai, who was more focused on Lee and on upstaging the cooler Kakashi 😛.

Eh I'm not sure if I'd want Kimimaro to come back. Didn't really like him, unless it was to kick Sasuke's butt for 'killing' Oro. But if he never got sick, Sasuke would never be who he is, and Oro would be in Kimimaro's body, and not dead.

I don't know about you but my voice started changing at late 11, early 12. Didn't get much deeper after 12.

And, like Kento implied...it's some sort of tradition or something to cast females for male characters.

they use females to do young boy's voices so the producers can work longer hours without having to work around a real child's allowable work hours. kids can only work for several hours per day and voice acting lines take a while to get right, and of coarse children's voices change and it's gone for good.

kids also suck at getting the emotions just right since they haven't really lived through shit, an adult at least has experience.

I understand that, but what bugs me is when they have girls do teen/adult male voices.

That one handed seal thing is IMO still the coolest thing in part 1, well, maybe slightly less cooler than CS2 and Raikiri/Chidori 😛.

That's not a good enough excuse for me (because I'm a spoiled American b*tch...lulz). Example: Sasuke's voice in both English and Japanese.

That's true. But there's way too many techniques and voice talent out there to let it slide. I was fine with 12 cause I know some dudes that didn't sound like men until they were 14 (I know 2...and that's it). But 15-16? They should try a tad harder.

Here's another reason why they don't change out voice actors as their anime male characters grow up: Japan has this cultural thing about NOT firing/laying off people. It's part of the problem experienced due to that massive economic recession in the early 90s; bosses refused to lay-off because it wasn't culturally acceptable or honorable.
