Yes, if i'm not mistaken Gai said he used to be like Lee in that "talentless" respect. And if you learn to enhance it with Chakra, good taijutsu can take you incredibly far. Just look at Gai, or even Raikage.

genin just have to study the three branches of ninja arts, not perform them.

so kento is right. an interresting thing though is that guy was his generation's dead last, so maybe there is hope for lee to mold chackra at some point.

Well your right on becoming genin though you have to mold chakra. Naruto's class had to create clones to pass. Lee wouldn't ever be able to. Unless maybe every year is different tests and Lee just got real lucky. Or Gai's influence let him pass.

Though now I'm curious to what kind of people Gai was teamed up with if he considers Kakashi his rival and never speaks of them.

the filler arc about the six tails might get more interesting: pein is the one that caught and sealed him and he will in the anime.

Tests seem to vary, Naruto mentioned it was unlucky for it to be doppleganger each time. Maybe sometimes it's a weak genjutsu, maybe sometimes it's taijutsu.

i heard that the next ep is when pein comes for him. he uses the dog summon to search the Forrest with it's nose.

animal path in the anime was scary as shit, those who didn't see the pein/jiraya fight missed some crazy shit.

YouTube video

That toad's got some crazy fighting skill in the anime too. And Jiraiya owning some summons was cool.

*prediction dont read if you dont want it to be ruined.*

So im guessin

Naruto: i cant believe how low you got
Sasuke: dont lecture me

they will argue back and forth and than naruto will charge at sasuke with madara showin up at the same time and naruto jumpin back so sasuke yellin i dont need your help. madara sayin somethin smart and than tells naruto you will have your chance to fight him in the great war naruto will look confuse and madara will take sasuke. as sasuke falls on the floor he is holding his eye asking why is he goin blind and than madara says you must take itachis argue back no yes no yes for awhile until sasuke says ok than takes his eyes and get awesome new powers. and become more good sense itachi was the good one and sasuke is the evil one. like madaras brother was the light for him.

Chapter was boring. Nothing new, apart from Sasuke being a rather good (IMO) Light wannabe in one scene.

Where did you read it?

Been out for a few hours at MangaStream and Mangashare (they're working together now anyway, so it's the same version).

EDIT: Scratch what I said earlier. There were other new details, but the chapter was still boring.

I actually liked it.

Kishi has done a remarkable job at actually making Sasuke one of the most unlikeable and insane villains i've seen. I think if not for the fact that in the back of our heads we all have the notion he'll turn good in the end, we'd actually be finding him a much cooler character.

Sasuke's head his broken 🙂

At first, he was just driven and focused, suppressing his emotions, but after Itachi's death he's become more and more unhinged.

Stupid, you mean.

Even after all that he's still able to react to Kakashi, and use chidori...And strong enough not to be completely overpowered by Rasengan? But at least Karin seems to be smarter than Naruto and Sakura...

chapter wasn't bad, but it seems like it could be a clever bait and switch from kishi that makes us think team 7 could be repaired in the near future when it will most likely never be (making sauce final villain)

That would certainly be much better writing than redeeming Sasuke.

No, I mean insane. He's lashing out with grief and not having any outlet for it other than destruction is being driven mad.

I agree. At first I thought he was stupid, but now that it's clear he's actually very disturbed I understand why he never seemed to act logically.
