I didn't mean Oro hinted at it. I just meant it was hinted at in general. With Jiraiya trying to stop Oro, and failing, and then trying to tell Naruto it was pointless to chase Sasuke because he's been there. Not to mention, we never seen Oro go all out like we have Jiraiya, and Pain. It's not like Oro is the same as when he left the village either.

Well to be fair, nobody knew Oro was running the Sound. Least Konoha didn't. And I doubt random kids he stole/picked up would really pay attention to who was a S-Class criminal ninja.

Never said it was a good reason but what's Sasuke going to really do. Sit there and do nothing while being attacked? The circumstances being Naruto was trying to stop him from making a grave mistake yes, but you get attacked no matter what reason for are you really just going to sit by and not fight?

nothing special: naruto and sasuke (the latter doesn't admit it) find out that they could very well die if they fight seriously cause their attacks hitting caused a shockwave (or something).
naruto's all "i'll die together with you sasuke" and sasuke's basically like "lol, the feeling isn't mutual bro, i like living".
kakashi says that naruto has to become the hokage so he elects himself to fight sasuke, naruto then says that he shouldn't be the hokage if he can't save one friend. [basically trying to fix the jiraya failure]

Dumbshit... how is Naruto going to die from a half-dead Sasuke when he's survived having a huge hole blown in his chest? God damn I was afraid of when these two would meet, and it's totally justified.

Well I seriously doubt Naruto believes he can't die. So Naruto saying he's willing to die doesn't really matter is he can die or not just that he's willing to. And Kakashi was never around to see him healing from that Chidori.

But if Kakashi gives up his title to Naruto, and Konoha goes through three different Hokages in probably as many days that's going to be stupid....As much as I think Naruto would make the perfect Hokage he's still to young to do it effectively.

This should teach people to fear the craziness and fail that is Sasuke. If he can beat up Naruto while going blind, then who knows what insane antics he's capable of. Maybe he might start doing the Spirit Bomb next. I know Kakashi is uneasy about taking out his student, so why doesn't he just get rid of Sasuke's arms like Sarutobi did with Orochimaru? Or better yet he could humiliate Sasuke with 1000 years of death.

Why Naruto doesn't force Sasuke to completely exhaust his chakra, tie him up and then use Talk no jutsu over and over again like Madara did is beyond me.

He'll be out of chakra and it's not like Sasuke can build up more hatred to summon Susano'o in order to break the ropes.

Hatred? More like a crap load of fail that looks like hatred. But I sure that Sasuke will pull some more crazy antics out of "Hatred" like oh say a Galik Gun or something. Hey! If Naruto can get a legit knock-off of the Destructo Disk (say what you want its a rip-off) then Sasuke can still pull some crap off.

I do note that Naruto's declaration actually shook him up and made Sasukestart asking questions.

I don't think Naruto *wants* to die, but does view it as his role to be the one to handle Sasuke.
