Madara has the rinnegan? That statement really bugs me since it's pretty clear his eye is still the sharingan. Maybe he switches out his left eye and keeps it secret.

Naruto has finally decided to stop trying to get Sasuke to come back and lose his hatred. just like that, my respect for Naruto has grown.

So I wonder if Sasuke's going to take Itachi's eyes now. Kinda hard to get revenge without any eyesight though.

This was fairly good, however Naruto still bugs the crap out of me. He KNOWS Sasuke is a psychotic terrorist... what kind of a ninja is he, he won't even take out a target because they were friend/rivals years ago. I mean I get being loyal to your friends, but he really should choose a different profession.

Well he IS willing to fight him to protect Konoha. That's got to count for something right?

He's planning on letting Sasuke peer further into his heart when they fight again, and he hopes that'll change Sasuke. He knows that talk-no-jutsu won't work anymore.
So he most likely thinks he won't have to die, but IMO, he's ready to die if Sasuke cannot be changed.

I guess that top-class ninja shit kinda explains why they can hold long-a** convos during a clash between Chidori and Rasengan.

I wanted some pwnage from Naruto to Sasuke. I wanted to see Naruto holding Sasuke's almost lifeless body, by his tattered shirt, with sasuke's face swollen and blood dripping out of his mouth, nose and all over his shirt. With Naruto looking determined and proud into the distance.

That would have been a far better chapter closing, imo.

The next chapter would open with Sakura bouncing up and down on Naruto. 😐
