😆 I really don't know if it was Pokemon or Sasuke that got insulted.

Wonder what started everyone on Sasuke anyway?(I missed some stuff) I still want to know what and EMS will give Sasuke other that a blind-guard because getting a chakra boost or a new jutsu sounds to convinient and lame IMO.

Sasuke always gets brought up most. lol

It will probably give him another jutsu. Madara was the only one said to get another jutsu with EMS, and Sasuke has been compared to Madara at least once, and talked about his eyes being special at least twice.

Maybe he'll learn Izanagi (and the eyes won't fade because their EMS).

That isn't the first time he used a genjutsu from his MS though when fighting Danzo.

Just like he used Susanoo like three times before it even matured into the arrow form.

Even Itachi's Susanoo when first shown was just a skeleton form like Sasuke's became to block Team Sand's attack. So Susanoo having different forms unlocked can't be compared to Tsukiyomi which isn't ever shown to be anything but a genjutsu that Itachi can control....And using a genjutsu with MS doesn't automatically make it Tsukiyomi either.

Oh really... because it sure looks that way to me.

if neji, lee, f'ing shino, shikamaru, etc got half the good fortune sasuke got in terms of out of the blue power-ups, there'd be like 7 characters fighting for the hokage spot

The eyes have the ability to cast, reverse, and see through genjutsu even at their weakest....why does it have to be Tsukiyomi? But whatever it'll probably be confirmed or not soon enough.

They need to break into Madara's house and take some eyes for themselves. Maybe they would then. Cause only Naruto or people with sharingan eyes get any special power. Even Kakashi despite him always getting out of chakra has hax sharingan ability.

Ehh? Apart from the MS jutsu, what other countless jutsu has Itachi 'given' Sasuke?

If you are talking about the jutsu which Sasuke replicated, I don't see how Itachi 'gave' them to him. Unless it's how Fugaku 'gave' Katon Gokyaku to Sasuke, or Jiraiya 'gave' Naruto the Rasengan.

It was only Susano'o that grew in strength due of that Hulk-like Hatred factor; which was what, twice? The second time doesn't even matter anyway, considering what happened to the fool just after.
Before the hatred aspect kicked in, he had already gotten the entire skeleton out, painstakingly at that.

Tsukiyomi, if he has it, is incredibly weak for a jutsu of that calibre.
That emoterasu Sasuke used to one-shot Hachibi hasn't been used again, and all he's displayed with the technique is control via his right MS. Which, according to his words "can't believe I had to protect myself with an Enton," he had trained to perfect.

Sage mode ma boi. Naruto learned that in what, a few days? An ass-pulled power-up if you ask me.

Which we don't know how Sasuke will handle yet.
Though I'll give you this.

i give him full credit for learning chidori and expanding on it, and his speed seems to be from intensive training, but his major abilities were surprise gifts.

if he never met oro...just think about the rest of his fighting career after that.

Of course, because like you, I'm sure Sasuke would have sat on a couch with a dunce cap, and eaten potato chips, had he not gone to Orochimaru.

Not to mention, while he was with Orochimaru, he was fed a supadupa-secret soldier potion that automatically gave him automatic sword-mastery & numerous jutsu, instead of, you know, training with Orochimaru.

It's because Kishi focuses on Naruto's training arcs that we do not see Sasuke training.

Which automatically leads the blind haters to say "OH NOES, SASGAY NEVAR TRAINS! I ONLY SEE HIM PULL STUF OUTTA HIS ASS."

I don't know about you, but I sure as hell would hate it if I had to sit through the training arcs of two characters.
If Neji or Lee were featured as much Sasuke, we sure as hell would have 3 characters who seemingly pulled stuff out of their ass.

Yea, but that doesn't mean it was Tsukiyomi. Madara even calls it a weak genjutsu. As does Danzo.

Haha that is amusing.

Danzo specifically compared it to Itachi's Tsukiyomi. Why would he do that if it were not Sasuke's version of Tsukiyomi? Unless he automatically assumed it was.

Indeed. Some of the quotes were a little over-the-top, but it was amoosin'

Why use the MS though, if it's a regular ole genjutsu? He could just use his regular 3 tomoe Sharingan instead, like he did against C.

Agreed. Though the blow is somewhat lessened, when you consider that the fight was rigged from the start

This is just to clarify what I meant by the phrase "like you," P.Gundam. It wasn't an attack, as I wasn't referring to the whole couch & dunce cap bit, but the "I'm sure" phrase.

Kishi really, really seems to like to use the "loss due to illness" plot device... in addition to Kimimaro and Itachi (the two most grievous examples, since the endings were completely identical), Orochimaru and Sasuke's fight also qualifies, and Nagato as well in a roundabout way.

To make him feel inadequate? But still if a person uses MS and then casts a genjutsu of course you are going to compare it to Tsukiyomi. Madara talks about how Danzo is right that it's no match for Itachi's Tsukiyomi also, then goes and says it's a weak genjutsu that doesn't last long but the trick is knowing when to use it.

C doesn't have sharingan all over though.

Naruto doesn't get power-ups thrown at him:

He trains to the brink of death, almost everytime. He's also a genius that only comes once a generation. His father was the genius before him that occured in the previous generation.

Naruto's sage training was more difficult for him that it was Jiraiya because the Kyuubi's chakra f***ed with his shit making it absurd that Naruto even mastered Safe Mode, something Jiraiya still didn't do. On top of that, Naruto has massive amounts of personal chakra, in his own right (regardless of the Kyuubi). On top of THAT, Naruto packed...what? 20 years of training into 2 weeks with his massive shadow clone jutsu? That's 2 decades of training. And we have people saying that he get shit handed to him? Ridiculous.

Also, Naruto got the utter living shit beat out of him while doing the sage mode training. Other than the occasional buttsex, I'm sure Sasuke didn't have to go through training that difficult.

The difference between Naruto and Sasuke:

1. Naruto is not a douchebag emo.
2. Naruto works himself to near death anytime he gets a "power-up."
3. Naruto works hard for other people, not himself.
4. Naruto actually tries to make other people feel good about themselves, when he's serious.
5. Naruto wants peace and love to abound and Sasuke wants irrational destruction.
6. And the MOST important reason of all: Hinata likes Naruto because she used the byakugan to see that Naruto is hung like a horse and Sasuke is "lacking." PWNED!

Imagine his timeskip training arc:
Orochimaru- "Sasuke, do this."
Sasuke- "Ok." *Does it*
O- "Now do this."
S- "Ok," *does it, but it doesn't turn out perfectly."
O- "No, you need to focus on the shape more. Practice it."
*Leaves and comes back later*
O- "Got it now?"
S- "Yes."

He was in full-on unemotional mode then, it'd be days and days of just fine-tuning jutsu without getting frustrated.

It'd be a rather fruitless move if it were a regular genjutsu that Sasuke used. Danzo's taunt would have had more effect if Sasuke used Tsukiyomi, even Danzo should know that. Which just points to him thinking Sasuke used Tsukiyomi.

So having eyes all over your arm gives you genjutsu resistance, as opposed to excellent chakra control?

True.
It's his way of leaving the true strength of the former two shinobi unknown, and giving a method for the main characters to defeat the latter two shinobi who at their prime, were vastly stronger than them.

Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Neji, Lee, Shikamaru, & Sakura are all genii that appear once a generation. They've all done stuff that puts them in that category. Which is interesting since all of the shinobi I've mentioned were in the same generation. Odd ain't it.

Minato was head and heels above the rest. Not even Itachi was near that level IMO.

You hit the nail on the head; it is absurd that he mastered it in little over a week as opposed to Jiraiya who never mastered it at all, despite having 30+ years. I know, Jiraiya isn't on the same level as Naruto when it comes to training, but it's retardedly absurd. Sage Mode was nothing more than a power-up for Naruto to "defeat" Pain.
Also, I'm pretty sure he never used Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu while learning Sage Mode 😐

Love how this whole Sasuke received power-ups turned into a Naruto vs. Sasuke thing...I won't address most of the character traits, Sasuke's f***ed up in that regard.

1. Funny, I remember a different Naruto that appeared recently.
2. Because I'm sure he worked to death to perfect Rasenshuriken, just like I'm sure he's working to death to extend the length of the duration of Sage Mode.
3. I'll give you this. (He does work hard for himself as well though)

6. Meh, Sasuke's either gay or asexual, not going to argue here.

What about his sword skills? Kirin? Cursed Seal? Speed? I think he'd get frustrated at least once there.

Meh, Sasuke's a genius anyway, and he's always picked up stuff easily. Kishimoto has said it himself I think. Or it was Kakashi.
That however doesn't mean that he doesn't train. As you said it yourself, fine-tuning. That would be even more boring to read than a regular Sasuke training arc.
We never got to read Sasuke training with Kakashi right? Or Hinata training with Hiashi. Or Gaara training to perfect his Sand jutsu in Part 1 (after his battle with Naruto).
That sort of stuff is reserved for Naruto only.

My stance was that he had to train with those power-ups 😐. There's a big difference from having perfect control over a handed power-up from the start like you seem to think, versus training to control said power-up 😐

You can disagree, but Naruto trained himself on the border of death, the whole time, as he could have turned into a stone frog the whole time.

He was also beaten senselessly to prevent this from happening.
