I do have to say though. So much for Madara's "brokenness", that people talk about so much. He's obviously beatable.

Doesn't he move others by touching/carrying them?

😛 Minato gets Madara to retreat for sixteen years. I say that's something when up against an immortal kekkai genkai user.

Yea, but that doesn't really discount the seals still being used as a way point for the Barrier. Though probably until the Databook comes out with that technique in it there won't be any way of knowing. Though still if he doesn't need seals for it, kinda sucks that his s/t jutsu couldn't be less limited. 😛 Though that 'limited' warping seems to be doing just fine.

Well, Torune was able to hurt him also. It's just a matter of being able to dodge his warping abilities.

What I don't understand is why Minato keeps going on about "Madara can't control the Kyuubi for long". Why bother controlling it? Can't he just release control, it will go wild anyway.

Apparently so.

By Minato.

You know, the guy who was hyped up as one of the most powerful ninjas ever, and recently just opened up a wormhole that swallowed the Kyuubi's attack effortlessly?

😐

Note this is a Madara who is not only weakened from his fight with Hashirama, but is simultaneously controlling the Kyuubi as well, which I assume is kind of difficult to do, supported by Minato's assertion that he cannot do it for long.

The only other person to hurt Madara thus far is Torune, and it didn't really do any signifigant damage, considering how easily he was apparently able to repair his arm.

It is still safe to assume Madara would still beat most characters in the series thus far.

Yea I'm not understanding that either. Kyuubi is always said to bring destruction. He'd probably attack Konoha anyway without being controlled. Unless Madara wants him to attack something specifically.

It could be not wanting it to attack him or something. 😐

I was thinking that, but Madara can just phase through it's attacks..or just leave and let Kyuubi run wild on Konoha.

Maybe the Kyuubi actually used to be nice, it's just pissed off because it's spent basically it's whole existence either controlled or imprisoned in a human. And it would actually be perfectly happy to go leave and live on monster isle if Madara lost control.

Maybe it wants to use the Kyuubi to have sex with the Hokage Mountain, and anything the Kyuubi feels, Madara feels.

Maybe he just likes making the Kyuubi his b****.

On a serious note, he wants the Uchiha dead, maybe he wants to ensure every last one of them dies?

Yeah, by people at or above Minato's level.
There aren't very many who are as smart or as powerful as Minato.

And loses his life in the process. Definitely what happens when you try to go up against an immortal kekkai genkai user. 😛

Except when he moves someone, he moves as well. He moved the attack without moving himself, or being in physical contact with the attack.
In Minato's hands, it's broken tbh. Madara can't warp instantaneously like Minato can, but he can at least made his body intangible.

FTG has a second level. I don't know if FTG reaches second level when Minato uses it with Rasengan, or if FTG Lv2 can move him to a spot where the kunai is, even if it is traveling.
Maybe Naruto will learn the third level of FTG...Yeah, that's just what he needs after gaining Kyuubi's power & Sage Mode. Another broken ability. 😐
Meh, he's up against Sasuke, so he needs all the broken abilities he can get his hands on. 😛

Torune? 😐

It's not as if the hiraishin technique is some kind of overtly advanced or unbeatable tech... it's something that someone with great speed could replicate. I don't see why someone with speed enhancing techs such as gates or the mirrors wouldn't be able to beat Madara... plus half the battle is just knowing the limitation of the phasing tech.

Eh, lost his life getting rid of a pet. Just sealing Kyuubi couldn't have been what drove Madara away. 😛

This is true. I wonder if Minato created the barrier or if it'll be another broken Tobirama jutsu. In Minato's hands...anything is broken. 😆

Naruto's never gonna learn FTG. He's not awesome enough. But really who would teach him? 😆 Besides it'll be useless against Susanoo. I'm going to laugh if Naruto overpowers Susanoo with a Rasengan...of any kind. Even more so if Sasuke does get the Yata shield though.

Maybe on it's own, while destructive, it'd want to retreat from an entire village to avoid risking being sealed.

Madara says why: he's trying to bring about his own version of peace with the eternal tsukuyomi.

He did also summon the Kyuubi into the center of town, presumably to bypass it's defenses.

Maybe summonings do require chakra to sustain and'll pop back? So the Fox would end up in the isolated location from before?

It just occurred to me.

Don't you need the same amount of chakra as what you summon in order to successfully summon something?

Does that mean Madara has as much chakra as the Kyuubi? 😐

When was it said you need to have the same amount of chakra? Kabuto was able to summon Manda, yet Manda threatens Orochimaru, and Hebi Sasuke is able to summon Manda, and at the point he did he is weaker than Oro. And Jiraiya's hates having to summon Gamabunta because he can't control him.

I looked it up.

You need to use chakra proportional to the size of the creature, which makes sense I guess.
