Problem with her acid technique is that she can only use it when none from her side are around, unless she is the type to sacrifice her own ninjas. Personally, I don't think she's the type. Also, there's the risk that the Acid technique could blow all over the field and affect her own ninjas anyway. IMO, I don't see her using the acid technique in the open, not unless she tries to release a small amount, just enough to corrode one person.

Yea, she'd have to use lava more if she had her own people around, but the possibility of using boil release when on her own is still there and capable of inflicting major casualties.

Also, she can control the acidity- after Sasuke escaped and there was a hole in the wall, she turned it down. So if the wind changes she can prevent it from hurting allies.

Tsunade would be more of a support member, as she's a medic-nin. If there are other big-players on the field, like Jiraiya, and/or Orochimaru, she wouldn't be as involved as they are when it comes to combat. She'd still take out small pockets of ninja with those crater creating punches of hers, or one-shotting each ninja, and she's also trained herself to avoid attacks. Then there's her ability to remotely heal people via Katsuyu.

Quite, though as we saw in the Hanzo fight, she was still up there alongside Orochimaru and Jiraiya fighting him.

I think her strategy depends a lot on the assets she has with her. With a small elite group, she's better off forward in the fight, while with an army she's further back, at least unless they run into a foe the normal forces can't handle without her aid.

With enough sand, he could likely take on small armies by himself. Personally, I see him starting a battle at the front, while gathering enough sand to fill a very large area, and trying to bury every enemy on the field. Some might escape or avoid, in which case, he would send in his forces to deal with the strays.

Gaara's really great strategically.

Though, lacking shukaku now, he might have less chakra and thus not leap to using sand tsunamis and such too quicky if the enemy has an S-class. They're likely to survive, and harder to deal with if he uses up chakra on uber moves.

God. "dust" release... that sounds so ****ing stupid. "Dust release" is Doton except small and crushed.... *sighs* Dunno where Kishi gets this stuff from lol.

She just needs a partner with wind release. Acid would be deadly.

TEMARI!?

Uchihas are just that awesome. Their eyes make everyone barring the Senju forget their jutsus, and Sasuke's eyes can cancel out jutsus, even those of the Senju.

Saru was going to die anyway, Orochimaru is just that awesome. Tsunade wanted Orochimaru gone, and so did the rest of Konoha, as Orochimaru wanted to destroy Konoha. So Sasuke took out the guy who would destroy Konoha. That puts him on a near equivalent footing with Naruto, who took out the guy that actually destroyed Konoha.
Pfft, Kakashi finished off Kakuzu, not Naruto. Chidori/Raikiri was created by Kakashi and Sasuke is a better user of Chidori, so Sasuke could have easily finished off Kakuzu. vin
Naruto won't be able to touch Madara. He's just like his father, and Madara will scare the crap out of him. It'll be left to Sasuke to do all the work, and with his ossum eyes, he'll cancel Madara's phasing technique, and kill him with Kirin.
Since Sasuke and Naruto cancel each other out, Itachi is left, and Fugaku wins. 313

You mean having the last name Hyuuga just brings it down. Had she been Hanabi Uchiha, her name would be better than TenTen's name. Hanabi knows this, which is why she's secretly after Sasuke as well. vin

Byakugan is SMALL-TIEM. Sexy Jutsus > Byakugan. Awesome coolness > Byakugan. the name Sasuke > Byakugan. 😛

Well, he knows fire, so he would have learned lightning, had his element been fire. Kirin Lightning >> super hotter than sun fire. Also Sasuke Uchiha just felt glad to see Gaara again, so he didn't make his Amaterasu fire hotter than the sun as he didn't want to pwn him so quickly. 😛

If I did, I'd be a liar!

😎 Jiraya never forgot his jutsu up against Itachi. But then again Jiraiya is just cooler than Itachi and Oro combined so. Then again Itachi doesn't have Sasuke's aura of making a person own themselves whne fighting him.

Nu uh, Oro was allowed to live because nobody wanted him dead. The Akatsuki he betrayed, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Saru all wished him to live. That's why nobody went after him ever. Yet Jiraiya went after Pain the second he knew where Pain was, and Naruto was sent to train to fight Pain. Sasuke looses points not just for killing Oro, but for becoming worse than Oro was.
Naruto gave Kakuzu a fate worse than death though. Pft anybody could've easily finished off Kakuzu, even Ino, after Naruto was done with him. Kakashi just rushed to do it to look cool.
Fugaku can't win because Itachi failed him in his eyes. 😛 So Minato wins because Naruto hasn't gone crazy, emo for like two seconds but he came back from it so it's alright.

No Hyuuga would ever be seen near a Uchiha. Sasuke's leaving Konoha was because he knew he'd never get to be with a Hyuuga because they only stay with each other. Except Hinato who wants Naruto and Sasuke just couldn't accept Uzumaki being picked over a Uchiha.

You're just jealous that the Hyuuga doesn't concern themselves with petty Uchiha's and their lame attempts at revenge.

But if his main element had been fire, he'd never be super special awesome with Chidori. And possible Kakashi would've taught him fail Katon moves. Because only Asuma is cool enough to get Katon attacks that actually work.

Bah, while Sasuke lifts his hands, and does some big speech about Disappearing with Thunder, Gaara goes Sand Coffin, and goodbye to the last of the Uchiha. No, Gaara was glad to see Sasuke. That's why Sasuke was able to survive and Sasuke ran from Gaara scared. Which is why Minato wins, Naruto doesn't run away scared. Sasuke ran from Gaara, Oro, and Deidara. 😛

🙁

Of course, if she's on her own, her acid technique would be very potent, depending on how corrosive she makes it.

I think it just diffuses throughout the entire area, regardless of wind flow. There was no wind in those two rooms, and it diffused towards the main room once Sasuke broke into that room. Granted, wind would affect its movement, if it is capable of diffusion, and someone like Temari could completely control the movement of the acid with her fan.

With that in mind, if her comrades are around, she'd be better off sticking to Water, Fire, Earth & Lava. Even without Boil Release/Acid technique, she should still have an incredible amount of versatility.

True enough. If she were a part of a large army with a decent number of heavy hitters, she'd be better suited to a support role, along with occasional heavy-hitting.

If she's a part of a small group, chances are that she'll be one of the most skilled members in that group, and she could thus balance herself between healing and heavy-hitting.

I don't think we know if the removal of Shukaku influenced his chakra levels in any way. So while it may be possible that his overall chakra capacity has been reduced, he should still have a fairly large amount of chakra, as he'd been a Jinchuuriki for 15 years.

Yeah, it's likely that an S-Class could avoid it, but the rest of his enemies probably wouldn't. Also, if he's facing off against an army alone, he'd likely be more conservative, but if he has an army or other people backing him up, he can use those uber jutsus from the get-go, and then save his remaining chakra for shielding or transporting others.

Besides, these two techs seem enough, provided he's at the front, and none of his comrades are in the way. These techs were created when he was 12, so it's likely that he could have made them more devastating in Part 2.

Hm, I wonder if she would make an Earth-break to help trap the acid and keep it from heading in a direction she doesn't like.

True, if he has some other skilled people with him (like big sis) then him going after the bulk and then teaming up against the more skilled opponents is likely.

Yea, but the fight he used them in really sapped his strength, he was low on chakra by the end.

So it's confirmed, half the Kyuubi is in the Death God. Does that mean Kyuubi is only half as powerful as it was before Naruto though?

And Minato's FTG just got more broken..

Is it just me or does this chapter make Minato look like a douchebag? He COULD have let Kushina handle it, and then have been there for his son and avoided him having to be a jinchiruki, while getting rid of the nine tails. Instead, for some reason, he decides on a tactic that would kill himself, curse his son, make the nine tails (which is a key military asset) lose half it's power, and Kushina would still die. I just don't see the sense in it. Seriously, why not just reseal it with... whatever method they used to seal it in the first place?

But Kushina's way would have just let the Kyuubi come back, full power, and Madara would be able to capture it easily. Minato's way weakens the Kyuubi, and keeps Kyuubi sealed and protected from Madara.

Yeah, but it would have made the Kyuubi go away for quite a while apparently, and then they could re-seal it in a regular fashion because they'd be prepared.

Depends, would they even know where it would appear? And even if they did Madara would probably be there, and with Akatsuki. I doubt it would be easy to seal when it appeared. *shrugs*

Yeah, to be frank, I doubt Madara knows that Minato sealed half of the Fox's power inside himself, and the other half inside Naruto. Madara probably thinks that the Fox's entire power is inside Naruto.
Maybe that's why the Juubi will never be revived, or if it is, it will be lacking some of its chakra, and hence, will be weakened.

I wonder why they didn't just try to dry the fox back. Unless it just really wanted to kill Kushina, I think it would of just left to destroy some other place. I also thought that the biju died with its owner, according to the explanation that the kyuubi gave Naruto; meaning that the fox would be lost right?

I also wonder if Madara can do an extraction with a tailed-beast without it being in a host.

Yea, both ways have their merits. If Kushina's way is done, then they have to fight for 9-tails again, and possibly face another attack from a wild kyuubi, or worse, have Masked Ninja claim control for his ultimate plan. He already knew he needed something to counter that plan, and while he could maybe counter Mask, Mask and Kyuubi together could be too much for him (what with him being low on chakra already this time and the Kyuubi not stopped... though he did do better against mask than his previous comments indicated).

I suspect his way is faster (the other ninja are already taking casualties here- nice to see the rookies of all the future badasses, and Kushina's dad. And was that Kushina's... brother?) and more sure of containing the Kyuubi.

Also worth noting, neither of them view being a jinchuuriki as that horrible of a fate. Others may, but they know better.

Well, how did they seal the Kyuubi in Kushina originally? clearly there is a sealing method that doesn't result in death. Why can't they just seal the kyuubi in an urn or something like all the other countries do?

Even if it was quicker and safer for the village in general, you have to admit their parenting skill are kind of lacking. I mean c'mon, their both going to in a sense "kill themselves" and make their problems Naruto's. I know it wasn't intended to be this way but its pretty bad.

Going to war with Madara and Akatsuki after getting the fox out the village could've also been a potential option, but it wouldn't have worked that well would it?

This is unrelated to te chapter but why do mothers/fathers in Naruto have such poor parenting skills. I know it isn't all true but there are examples or pretty bad parenting in this series.

😆 Actually....Inoichi, Shikaku, and Chouza are about the only parents that are actually shown doing stuff who haven't really did anything bad to their kids. Well Saru, but there has to be something that estranged Saru and Asuma. Saru and Asuma never seemed to acknowledge each other...

Saru comes off as a good grandparent; slight difference but not by much. Another question. Who the heck raise Naruto? Surely they didn't just let him grow up in an apartment building all his life. The village didn't even acknowledge him as the son of a hero which sucks; also contradicting Tsunade's childhood somewhat.

Either they did have the proper set up for the sealing ceremony which would include a bunch of elders and high ranking ninja(including kage) or just no enough time to do it. Then there's the situation I stated before, that people in Naruto are horrible parents.
