Probably Naruto was summoning Madara or Madara's original body, or something to that effect.

Well, someone, or maybe even me, speculated that Tobi is not Madara but has his eyes and that that was actually Madara, summoned.

Yeah I am guessing "Madara" is not really Madara.

Kishimoto likes to have his character refer to him as "the man who claims to be Madara" or whatever, seems like that is what he is building up to.

The only one to really recognize him is Kisame, and Kisame did so as 'former Mizukage'.

Hm, plus he was looking into his eye at the time, so possible genjutsu.

Didn't Kisame call him Madara first? Or Mizukage first then Madara. Kisame called him Madara either way.

Kabuto (which I referred as Naruto in my last post because I was THAT tired) should probably know about Madara if he really summoned the body, it seemed to me that he addressed him as "Toby or whoever you are" -whoever you are, because clearly you aren't the person you claim to be.

So, we thinkin' Obito here?

Would be lame it Madara was actually Obito IMO. 😐

Its meant to be ambiguous, it doesn't mean it won't be the case. The idea of someone taking Madara's eyes its not that much of a stretch, particularly since Madara/Toby has the means to trasplant them; even further: We only know for a fact he has ONE of the two sharigans, its quite possible his other eye is a Rinnegan or something else -or maybe his face is made of sharigans, really at this point I would buy anything-, I think that would be the case even if Toby was Madara.

I'm not judging, i'm just saying the Kabuto encounter doesn't really prove anything.

Kabuto probably knew Tobi back when Kabuto was working for Sasori. That might be what the whole 'Going by Madara now' thing was for also.

Well Kabuto was a spy, and all about gathering info. Deidara wasn't exactly smartest person in the world.
