When did Hinata lose against Hanabi in the manga?

I do not remember this at all.

She didn't. Was in the anime. But it's not likely that her losing to Hanabi is inconsistent. Their father did say Hinata was below Hanabi in terms of ability.

And note he said that after the Neji fight when she was finally showing some backbone.

Hoping that after that Pain stab that Hinata starts showing a bit more of her skills and a stronger personality. Low hopes but still.

Hopefully we'll get to see some of the Rookie 9 show something. A 4th World War has to be ...perfect chance.

I doubt it. Unless they're fighting Edo Tensei Akatsuki member; although I don't know how that would work out.

Plus there really isn't anybody for them to fight unless you count Madara and crazy Sasuke

Doesn't Madara still control a hidden villiage somewhere? Or was that the rain village?

I always guessed that the Mizukage would have did something about it by now.

That's Mist.

With Konan out of the way, he may have Rain, but possibly not. It could be he just has Akatsuki hideouts.

Naruto seems to be coming to a close IMO.

I think if he goes for the finish, maybe 10-12 more volumes, if he has side things, more than that.

Oh man. The look on Guy's face right before he takes off and Kakashi's face. And then Lee's face and his seriousness made me laugh so damn hard for ages. And Neji's response made it even better.

I don't see why Kento gets irritated by Guy's and Lee's antics: they are so damn funny.

Not necessarily. The little sparring took place in front of her Father, which might have given Hinata at least some drive to fight. The Pain thing I consider impressive, but only because of how he used the clone to establish Pain's abilities.

Or, he couldn't transform well and thus did it badly. Later he managed to do it well. And the reason I attribute his skill to hard work rather than talent is 1. He learned how to do the rasengan in part 1, and when he finally does it he needs a clone to help him with it. 2. Apparently, he'd only recently managed to make the clone jutsu wok, or at least that's the impression Naruto gives here. Which means it took him roughly 3 yeas to make the techniques work well.

Probably below Neji as well in terms of genius. In terms of strength, probably slightly below Kakashi level. Meh. We really should cook up a tier listing. Me and a couple of others such as Q started discussing it, but it just faded away.

I doubt she would have had the drive to fight her younger sister, even if it was in the presence of Hiashi. Hell, Hiashi's presence probably made her even more timid.

At the very least, that implies he took roughly three years to master the Shadow Clone Jutsu, but was able to complete the Rasengan quickly in a matter of a few months. 313

Oh, I already know he's superior to all but a certain few. He's superior to all but the Uchiha clan members, Sarutobi clan members, Orochimaru & Minato. 😛

While it does tend to get annoying after a while, it is pretty funny.
However, the best thing Gai has ever done would be when he summoned his Tortoise after 3 years, while in the air.

Still, the best running gag in the manga is probably the sexy jutsu. Kirabi not being affected by it was pure WIN and gheyness at the same time.

Just use the wikia to put all the Naruto knowledge you have, because honestly some of you really have in depth knowledge of this stuff and I like to hear it.

Keep in mind Naruto probably hasn't done this with him for quite awhile due to being out with Jiraiya. Konohamaru could've learned it awhile ago and Naruto wouldn't know.

Hmm...we'll call it square. You've hurt my Hanabi offscreen feat a bit and I've done the same with Konohamaru. Call it a tie and that they are both>Narutoverse? 🙂

We were doing it mostly on 'letter +/-'.

That is, S for S class ninja (and, rarely, SS for the insanely strong, like an Uzumaki with 6 bodies and a rinnegan, or a Senju/Uchiha who also has Biju), A for jonin who aren't strong enough to count in S, Bs for special jonin, Cs for chunin, Ds for genin, and Es for academy students.

A lot of time someone of a particular rank would be in the higher one. For example, Sakura and probably a lot of the Konoha 11 are chunin, but get into the B section. And as far back as the chunin exams, a lot of them would have climbed out of the Ds. C and D and E would be your normal mid-level chunin and genin and academy student respectively.

For some examples of ranking people I'd say Ebisu, despite having special jonin skills, is low enough in combat ability he's probably C+. Anko would be a B or B+, Ibiki definitely a B+ to maybe A-.
