Even though she has her Yin Release seal, she isn't as impressive as other S Class Ninja in combat.

Well, Naruto throwing that gigantic rhino superfast, into the air, is the biggest strength feat, thus far. However, Tsunade is near that feat with her gama sword swinging feat. No one is stronger than base Tsunade.
If Tsunade had Gai/Kakashi level speed, she'd be in the top 5, easily. She'd only have to get in the general area of the enemy and do "earth destruction". Her "dodging" abilities which HAVE to be superior to Sakura's would make her almost impossible to hit.
But...beacuse her speed is like...what? average? She's an A-Class IMO. Her being the best medical nin in the whole world gives her an advantage. She could easily take out a very large group of B-class ninjas because she's so familiar with the body...as long as none of them are faster than she is lol

Otherwise, the biggest strength feat probably belongs to Manda V2.
She's fairly fast. Not as fast as Kakashi, obviously, but as fast as most A Tier Ninja.
Also, I place her above Hidan, who right now is S-, as she is likely better than he is in Taijutsu, and she's probably about as fast. Then there's her evasion skills which I'd say was better than Sakura's was when she was being controlled by Chiyo.
One more thing, even if she doesn't use brute strength to beat the shit out of someone, she still has her nervous system attack. That's pretty l33t. In certain cases, that would have more effect than simply pummeling her opponent.
Overall, IMO, she's S-, due to her summon (who is very powerful in her own right), Yin seal/Creation Rebirth, & standard abilities. That said, she's a support type ninja, but easily the strongest support type ninja we've seen in the manga.

He had it activated the entire time prior to the point of almost killing Naruto. It just goes to show you that Naruto is so bad ass that he can knock out a genius among Hyuga (that's saying something as the Hyuga are one of the most powerful clans). That means that not only can Naruto handle the byakugan, he can survive potentially deathly blows. That means the byakugan is <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Naruto.

I still don't see a Tsunade doing jack shit against someone faster than she is. How can she stop Sasuke (pre EMS), Kakashi, Gai, etc? Those guys are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast for most characters to even counter. That's why I can't see her being any higher than A. Yes, she's the most powerful support ninja, by far.

Nahh, it shows us that Naruto is so 'badass' that he can only beat Doujutsu wielding ninja when their doujutsu are not active; with the exception of Pain, but that's moot, as Naruto had Sage Mode Hax & Nagato was obviously distracted by the hawtness that is Konan. vin

I doubt she could beat Sasuke with Orochimaru absorbed, let alone Sasuke with Susano'o perfected.
As for Gai, I see him barely losing to her thanks to her other abilities. It's over for Tsunade once he pulls out the Gates though, as he'd solo all 5 Kages together with 7 Gates open.
She has her evasion skills, which are pretty much hardwired into her system. Kisame has reacted to Gai in base form, and while I doubt her reactions are on his level, I don't think they're too far off. She's reacted to a charging Orochimaru. Meh.
As for Kakashi, I honestly dunno. He isn't Gai Level in terms of speed, so I think it'd be easier for her in Taijutsu. Though she has no way around Kamui.

You should watch the anime version of it: they did a far better job of making that plot point believable. It would seem that the anime writers agreed with you about the believability of it and tried to make it work.

You're also forgetting that it's been referenced multiple times that Naruto has this special ability of creating friends. Like....4 times? (Tsunade (pre Time-Skip) said it, Kakashi said it about Naruto and Gaara PS, Chiyo said it about Naruto, right before she was going to save Gaara, and then by Konan during her final fight.) That's everything short of saying friend-no-jutsu. It really is a special gift and it is called that. It could be a mild kekkei genkai (sp?). Dead serials.
On Tsunade's speed, she had no problem keeping up with Orochimaru's speed or Manda's speed. Kabuto's a pretty badass ninja and she was basically not even bothering with jutsu against him, using HtH only.
It's sort of like Hidan's speed- even being the slowest Akatsuki, he's still fast enough to keep up with other S-class without straining too hard. It's the bottom of the top category rather than being overwhelmed.
And throwing several hundred tons of rock is a threat to almost anyone.
Plus, with her chakra store, she has more raw power available than anyone short of a biju. Nothing's said it can only be used for regen to my knowledge, that's just how she happened to use it. So we know she has an uber tool.
Since all powers including support powers do figure in to some extent (otherwise Karin'd be lower), and she's yet to even really fight all-out, I put her at S.

All good points, but I do not see Oro's endeavors against her as showing any significant speed feats.
And, yeah, Hidan was not slow...I do not think it's "kosher" to call Hidan slow, when talking about Naruto in general. Compared to other S-Class criminals, yeah, he's down towards the bottom...but it's not fair to call him slow...like...chouji slow.

Going by the Databook, Hidan (and Tsunade) are 3.5s. That's really quite good, almost everyone in the jonin and S class doesn't get above 4.5 (5s are limited to pretty much just Guy and Itachi).
