god realm beat naruto at least twice when they fought and this was after the used a shitload of chackra and with his secrets almost all revealed, against the second coming of the most successful style used against him after ascending to pein, plus prep, plus an improved sage mode and longer usage.... plus that mofo had the kyuubi inside him. (minus the mission to capture, the manga would have ended)

jiraya had the chackra rod in his shoulder , sort of like naruto did also

Deva Path wouldn't have mattered as Jiraiya would not have wasted time with the Pain bodies, at all. He would have immediately went for Nagato (And I've already outlined what he would have done.) On top of that, why does everything think that a Ninja would have just walked right up to the Pain bodies? Doesn't it make far more sense that if Jiraiya knew about the secret, he would have waited until the bodies were "retired" and then did his supa dupa moves?

None of the Pain bodies could keep up with Naruto's pure straight-line speed. Despite King Kandy wanking all over Deva Path, none of the Pain's saw Naruo destroy that body (the initial attack) in an instant. Had they been fast enough, the body would have avoided Naruto, plain and simple...just like they did against Jiraiya (when they had him surrounded.)

Fact is, Sage Mode is much faster than any single one of the bodies: they would not be able to Pursue Jiraiya fast enough to stop him from destroying Nagato...which is why Pain made his statement.

To everything else you said...hehehehe...

Pain had lots of practice against tons and tons of high-level Ninja's and it can be argued that Pain, at the time, was the single strongest character (with all of his bodies) in the series. On top of that, he had practice against Jiraiya when they met. Naruto also refused the secret knowledge about Pain, remember?

On top of that, Pain had "cheater" techs that allowed him to null all chakra based attacks. It's not like the fight was even from the start.

Yet, Naruto STILL beat ALL of the Pains, including Nagato. Despite the "liek, Naruto toe tuhl lee lost teh fightz!", Naruto still won.

The Naruto-Pain fight had way too many external factors. Let's leave it at that.

The part of that fight that can be considered the most 'fair' is the last skirmish between Deva and Naruto IMO.

You're a main character that has appeared twice in over 30 chapters. You aren't as integral as you believe. Now me on the other hand...

You're in denial again, just like you first were when I told you the truth about Itachi. But it's okay, you'll realize your love for Naruto soon enough.

Only the husband of an Uzumaki can become Hokage. Besides, I'll be known as God soon enough. I can in fact wield lightning like Zeus. Servants will flock to me to be used.

Good thing Kabuto really does have an ace up his sleeve. Tall? Blonde? Pretty? Deidara fits all that with ease. And I am exactly smart enough that I don't need to show off my smartness.

Technically Pein beat Sage-Mode Naruto even with the crap load of prep he had. If it weren't for the whole nine-tailed fox thing happening, Pein would have just kept him in storaged pumped full of Rinnegan chakra until he caught Bee.

Naruto did however beat Deva w/o Sage-mode in a fair one on one fight; for the most part anyway.

Yeah, Naruto would have been completely boned if it wasn't for Hinata Leeroy Jenkinsing it up. Pain won the actual fight.

And then he only beat a Deva path who'd expended a ****ton of chakra fighting a pissed off nine-tails and controlled by a half-dead Nagato (seriously, he was messed up by that point).

Granted, Deva did not have his gravity powers while Naruto decimated all 6 bodies. (mwaahahahahahahah).

So, Sage Mode Naruto is <<< Deva but normal beat up Naruto is > Pain?

Doesn't make sense, right? lol (Plot no jutsu, that's why. Pain's push could, for some reason, dissolve the "sharpest" single chakra based attack in the series...which doesn't make sense to me unless pure chakra isn't energy but actually matter.)

All I know is Naruto did to Pain what no one had been able to do to Pain, before, withOUT knowing his secret: he destroyed 5 out of 6 bodies.

Well, Naruto technically defeated 5 S-Class ninja's, by himself. Those bodies, by themselves, walked all over Konoha like it was nothing.

And, really, there is no indication that Nagato got any slower. He had all of his push powers and agility. In fact, Deva Path's single best agility feat, imo, comes during his fight with Naruto: he did that quick stab the two clones, jump up the air and do a hand stond with his chakra swords, and flip down and land on his feet as the rasenshuriken went right under his feet. Not only was that super cool, it clearly shows how not worn down the body was. Pain's push tech still worked just as frequently, too.

Full Disclosure: I'm a Naruto fanboy. Da troof!

Pain had many years of fighting S-Class ninjas. Pain also had many years to master his powers. Naruto did not.

Both true. Still, Naruto had a good grasp on his powerset which had several elements unknown to Pain.

I can't think of an exception.

The near-miss punch that killed a Pain too, his experience with Jiraiya's sage mode didn't tell him that was coming. And while Pain figured out the nature chakra thing, that seems to be after the fact or he wouldn't have Preta hold on when it was happening.

So, about three kills can be chalked up to knowledge.
