Judging by his stats (close to Asuma's) and his goal of becoming Hokage, I bet Dan was pretty badass.

You're not the only one 🙂 The other group was lower powered than this one, Hanzo's a beast. Throw in 2 S- types and a sensor who may also be one of the Kekkei Genkai users, and there's trouble.
No known exploitable weaknesses like lightning or being out of puppets either.

Well, if Kabuto doesn't take full control of them, I can see them using Talking to beat Chiyo. And they do have excellent restraint puppets available.
But yea, Hanzo... I mean, Hanzo on his own is someone who I'd give strong odds of wiping this group. And there's only one person I can think of who'd have the slightest chance of talk-no-jutsuing him and even that's slim and not present (Tsunade, who he respected).

i bet naruto will learn some sealing techniques somehow, i mean, his father was one of the best seal users in the manga.
the kage that know the sealing techniques might turn to dust long before they decide to seal their zombie comrades if talk-no-jutsu is super effective, so someone has to seal the zombies that TnJ is weak against (hanzo for example)

The hyuuga should AT LEAST be able to see the talisman and destroy it. If I'm not mistaken, that would get rid of the ability of Kabuto to control them, period.

It'd be a lame but cool loop-hole to Edo Tensei if they could disrupt the sealing chakra.
I thought it was the talisman that held the dead soul inside the human sacrifice. Otherwise Sarutobi could've just ripped the tags out of the 1st and 2nd instead of resorting to the Shinigami seal

The person "summoned" is controlled with the talisman. Remove the talisman and the summoner has no control. So, that could be an effective way to null the negative effects of Edo Tensei. Potentially, the good guys could create an army of good guys that have died. Potentially, that's a bad sitution for the bad guys. If even 7 of the former kages have their talisman's removed, that could change the tide of the entire battle to a landslide victory. WWEEEEEEE!

I'd say that this talisman thing almost supports my previous theory that if you vap them with a giant bijuu blast, it pretty much destroys them...but, the hole to my theory is: they don't die, but the "controller" no longer controls them.
No one knows that talisman thing except for Madara and Kabuto, so it hasn't been exploited yet.

Double edit - The explosion while in the Black Secret canister thingie? Those were large chunks, reforming. In other words, he wasn't vaporized. That's not a good example of what I'm talking about. In order to make it happen the way I stated, it has to be vaporized by a much more energetic blast.
