It was not about matching him in overall power.
It was about reading A through their homoerotic fist-bump to put their power equal to his.
And I liked the chapter. A is a badass, I like the wanking of A's speed. Admittedly, I kinda loled at B stopping A's fist, because "Oh shit I don't have another arm to add leverage in retrospect lighting my left arm on fire was a bad idea."
That he is the 3rd strongest shinobi in the village? Which is pretty sad.
Nah, it's probably more specific in role. A, B, and Darui are all stronger right now.
A and B got their positions fairly young. A is the name of the Raikage-to-be, B of the partner of the Raikage-to-be. Perhaps C is the name for the top intelligence officer/intelligence offer to be or something like that?

If we're talking mechanical, then it'd require practice to learn it's basic functions. And the puppet arms we've seen aren't *that* powerful. Hm, come to think of it, ninja puppetry seems almost entirely a Suna art too, so Cloud might lack the technology that Sand has.
I think an implant arm like Danzo had might be better.
I gotta agree with you Nemebro, A was pretty awesome in this chapter. I was a bit taken aback by how willing he is to kill Naruto and Killer Bee, but I can understand the logic behind his soon to be attempt.
and yeah, maybe A doesn't bother with getting a prosthetic because it won't match his other arm or maybe it could be because he views it as something that a real warrior like him shouldn't have, kinda like how Vergil in DMC doesn't use guns as he sees them as weapons not befitting of a warrior.
or maybe, he simply sucks with technology. you never know.

I know! I want to see that so bad! Because, as far as I can tell, he is the most dangerous character without some special jutsu (ie genjutsu/chakra draining etc) currently living in the series, and I really think naruto would win.

Really, I just want to see A shutup because of how much of a jerk he is all the time. The best part of his character was when he cried when he found out about B. Everything else is just yelling, being an ***hole, and trying to boss everyone around.

I have a question and anyone can answer:
Is Naruto a "proud" character? I mean, he was always getting his ass kicked, made fun of, and pushed around as a kid...
But is he really that person anymore? Has he become proud and arrogant: similar to A? Does Naruto need to be knocked down a peg or two, as well?
Or has Naruto been doing that all along?
I have some arguments for both sides on Naruto, but I wanted to hear others' thoughts before I concluded one way or the other.
Naruto is definately putting his own needs above others in this chapter at least imo. 'How could I live with myself' etc. He's more concerned with his own mental wellbeing than the fate of the entire planet.
...or you could say that he's being super compassionate and can't stand by while others are getting hurt. Or just being stupid.
Personally I'd say some combination of the 3.
Back to the original debate of where to put Minato that kicked off the Minato vs A thing, I think this solidifies him as S+ and not SS-.
Both Jiraiya and A are some of the best S ranks. Minato got a couple draws against A while being acknowledged as stronger. The SS- ranked Pain was able to beat Jiraiya while still holding a good deal of his strength in reserve.
