Yes, if it wasn't for the laundry list of cool stuff he's done, I would find him lame.

But, he has done that stuff...

Also just rapping alone is not enough to make him offensive.

True I suppose.

Then again, if we want to make it look clever, Kishi could be making a statement about race. If one looks past the stereotypical appearance of Bee, we can see a truly good and interesting character. Moral? Don't judge a book by it's cover/race. Even if it's raping.

Interesting?

He put some black people in the manga and some of them arent fodder thats about it , some people are reading into this a little to deeply.

And basically, they shat on Sasuke, a main character. Do you see Byakuga get raped by Zommorai or Zoro get slashraped By Mr. 1?

No.

Yes, interesting. I don't believe I put an ellipse to indicate a stutter.

So what you're annoyed about is the fact that Sasuke got his ass kicked by Bee? And no, you don't see those guys lose. But their opponents aren't very interesting to begin with.

Edit: I would like to point out that your complaints about Bee being offensive coinciding with the fact that Bee kicked Sasuke's ass(I'll say it again to let it sink in: Bee kicked Sasuke's ass.) has you annoyed, makes it seem like you're mad that he is strong. 😛

Main characters lose in OP. Not often, but it happens.

Or Fairy Tail. Gildartz is *awesome* when he utterly stomps Natsu, the main character.

There's nothing inherently wrong about a main character losing, and Sasuke was setting himself up for a loss sooner or later.

Thats the only reason you think he's awesome, when someone kicks Sasuke's arse, they are a instant win character.

I'd love to see how you guys would see him if Sasuke in Bee's place and dishing out the arse whupping without getting a scratch on him and even rapping in the taka vs. bee fight.

Hell, the only character I know who's worthy enough to make Sasuke look like a chump is Itachi, that and Naruto(because he's the main lead to my much dismay). Also the fact that Bee is plot relevant is freakin rediculous, dude came out of no where without a explination and just started spiting verses and being a main character.

Given due the fact he's also Naruto's teacher, a freakin master jinnchuriki and the most powerful character after said main character makes me wonder the weed Kishi's smokes as he makes things up as he goes along.

if we're just naming black character's who are better than Bee...

Not to mention the fact that there is no shame in losing to Bee, bar none one of the strongest characters in Naruto period.

Edit: Yoruichi is cool. Not much of a character short of being badass and fanservice, but pretty cool nonetheless.

His beatdown of Taka only established his badass credentials, he has done more to make me like him as a character. Offensive? Why? Because he raps? B is so clearly meant to be representative of the old aesop of not judging a book by its cover, Sasuke saw him and assumed he was an idiot, and nearly died because of that. He has further proven to be among the most competent characters in the manga, in many fields.

Not really. Danzo lost to Sasuke, and I still like him as a character. Sure, A and B I like, but for different reasons.

Aka, if he was not competent and powerful, as in, not who he is? You are focusing on one aspect of his character and exagerrating its relevance, ignoring his other aspects, you're biased and butthurt.

"Worthy?" Dude your man-crush on this guy is getting out of hand, quite frankly it's sad. What do you mean by "worthy?" "Came out of nowhere?" If by that you mean, Kishi introduced a new character, then you would be right. Is introducing a new character a bad thing? Not inherently, although one could argue other characters suffer because of it, but B is the Eight Tails host, so, he is automatically plot relevant as one of the only two hosts to be alive and with their Biju inside them.

Baaaaaaw.

😆

I've missed Killermover.

NO, I'm mad because Bee kicking Sasuke's ass makes no freakin sense. It makes NO sense. Sasuke just got the MS and he loses when he gets it to a busta arse fool who looks like Blade.

Sasuke should deserve more respect that that, he's like the only character who has a story based on getting powerful after all based on his goals.

Not anyone can beat him, not anyone can show him up, he's the main characters rival and he's supposed to be gary oak, two steps ahead of everyone except the main character.

And Bee's a bad character, he's shallow, he's to cheerful, he makes Naruto look like a worse character in comparison. He can go the hell for all I care. 😠

Bee shouldn't even be this strong to begin with, he doesn't deserve it, he isn't tied to anything Uchiha or Plot related to Naruto.

I'm so glad Kisame (a senior character) kicked Bee's ass. He is acutally tied to a Uchiha that is tied to a main characters plot relevance.

Not even going to reply to this post, because it reeks of ignorance. Like I said, I don't care about how Bee is useful, I only care about how the main characters look agains the other opponents. Sasuke specifically is meant to be stronger and more sucessful than most of the cast because he's the main rival.

You don't see Kaiba losing to anyone but Yugi. Or Shadow to Sonic.

Oh and if Bee lost to Sasuke in that fight, would he still be a cool character in your eyes. His hype would never be taken seriously, he wouldn't be as important to the story and he would have been captured by Madara already. Kishimoto would never even have Bee meet Naruto if Sauske didn't become his hype fight.

That said, Kishi obviously cares about the money he makes over seas than his characters considering he's makes more money overseas than in his own damn country.

It's okay killermover.

We can't all be as intelligent as I am.

You certainly can't, anyway.

Justified. Sasuke is still healing and Bee is phenomenally powerful.

I do like Sasuke. But I can understand the hate for him. It's actually harder to like him without appearing like a dick.

Gary Oak was beaten by people aside from Ash though...so..?

Why shouldn't he be cheerful? He basically got adopted into royalty and he got himself a genuinely caring brother. And a lifelong friend in the Hachibi.

He is Naruto's teacher, so he is quite plot related. Not even counting the fact that he is half of Madara's goal.

Kisame is a boring character though.

Gary Oak turned out to in fact be a poor trainer.

Lolkillermover lern2Pokemon.

It is worth remembering that Killermover is the "Kishimoto hates Sasuke/slapped him in at the last minute," person.

You don't see Kaiba losing to anyone but Yugi. Or Shadow to Sonic.

Kaiba lost to Pegasus and I think some of the other villains. Dunno about Shadow, I haven't played his games, but Sonic's other rival, Knuckles, has lost to non-Sonic characters too.

I know. haermm

Kaiba also lost to Dartz, kinda lost to Noah(cheater), and would likely have lost to Bakura. Which is still not too bad a record for the guy.

Shadow is also kind of lame, or at least he is now. Seriously, **** that guy.

The notion that the rival can only lose to the main character is an ignorant and limiting notion, such hard-set literary opinions only serve to stifle your story's versatility, and your own creativity. Or something.

Sauske is phenomenally powerful, he has the freakin sharingan, which surpresses Kyuubi level beasts and beats freakin Sannin.

What does his personality have to due with his rep as the guy who everyone and there moms want to be like or be with based on established plot?

Gary from the Games I meant.

He's basically black Naruto who looks like Wesley Snipes. I hate clone characters.

He is Naruto's teacher, so he is quite plot related. Not even counting the fact that he is half of Madara's goal.

Kisame is a boring character though.

No, he's a plot tumor that came out of the blue.

Kisame is the most interesting akatsuki member after Itachi, and his more manly than any character in the series.

Your arguement is moot.

He only lost to people on special cercumstances, which don't count.

Kabia was the second best duelist on the show after Yugi and thats a fact.
