yes, your boy woke up early and opened his laptop before going back to bed for a little bit (that bonus sleep) to say.... yes, nagato/itachi & naruto/bee DO FIGHT. they talk for a bit but then kabuto says PHUCK THAT SHIT and makes itachi start to fight

best part.... bee still has the 8 swords, and he stores them in samahada (makes you wonder where the hell they were when he fought kisame, oh that kishi). nagato rides his wonky bird summon so he doesn't need to be carried around by itachi. this should be the next big fight to get people exited again as all parties involved are hella powerful and have tons of options in combat.

I'm surprised! I honestly didn't think Naruto was gonna top Bleach this week! Proven wrong!

Also, if that crow actually needed Itachi's eyes to be activated, that was some hella planning on his part. Oh, and the fight was pretty kick ass. Itachi used more taijutsu here than I've ever seen. He could deal with Bee and Naruto. Pretty impressive.

Its always good when the characters acknowledge how much of a stupid fvck-up Sasuke is and how his revenge is completely the opposite of respectful of Itachi's wishes.

He's such a lamer.

Eh, Itachi doesn't seem too mad at him for it. Being rightfully mad at Madara.

Though I just realized something.

Did Madara help Itachi kill his clan? If he did, Itachi shouldn't be surprised about Madara knowing the behind the scene's details. This might mean Madara was lying about that as well. He saw Danzo the night of the massacre, so interrogating him(who probably didn't have sharingan at the time) would have been easy. Why would Madara incriminate himself? Obvious answer.

Though, Naruto and Bee were obviously not going all out, but still, parrying/blocking Naruto's attacks, and dodging Bee's sword blitz is pretty good.

Not necessarily. Itachi need not have told him his personal reasons behind the massacre, when he asked for help. Madara could have interrogated Danzou as you said.
Plus Itachi kind of already told Sasuke that Madara was involved.

The problem with that is I can't imagine Madara not going so far as to ask Itachi why they were doing this. If he fed him that whole test my limits crap, Madara probably would have asked why he was needed. So either he made up some random excuse or Madara was lying.

Itachi said that while Sasuke still thought he was the scum of the earth. Itachi knew Madara was still a threat so why not sick Sasuke on him. Believing Sasuke would return to Konoha, they would all become aware of Madara's existence, and thus could deal with him accordingly.

Well Itachi was a member of the Anbu and then there was the whole shuriken spam and tossing Sasuke around so he's shown pretty good taijutsu prior to this IMO.

Madara wanted to get back at the Uchiha for turning their back on him some years ago IIRC. Maybe Itachi knew that or he really was trying to get Sasuke to attack Madara. Which also reminds me, I don't think Madara actually told Sasuke he helped Itachi out with the massacre only that he trained him.

However as we can see Itachi's plan needed some work ...you know keeping Orochimaru away from Sasuke and stuff🙁

So the plan is confirmed by Itachi and Madara wasn't lying (Mostly).

Also, Itachi's reasons for wanting to keep that secret actually makes sense: he wanted to preserve the honor of the Uchiha in the eyes of all the people and still remain as the badguy. This makes me like Itachi even more.

Finally, yes, Itachi is really awesome at being a ninja. His taijutsu is top-notch to be able to keep up with Naruto.

Did anyone see that RETARDEDLY large Rasengan that Naruto used against the "hydra-head" wolf that Nagato summoned? That's the biggest rasengan of them all. I mean...damn...

Also, B is just plain awesome. Both his dialogue and his skills: he's just so badass. I'm a believer in B's uber-ness, now. I wasn't before, but this chapter made me switch religions. I laughed out loud at some of the things he said this chapter. And when he cut the giant rasengan ball like it was nothing...

Naruto said he was a lot stronger since he fought the 6 paths. That's obvious. I did not pick up on how Naruto stopped the almighty pull from Nagato. Can anyone explain that? Also, Kishi said that those 4 were 4 of the strongest ninja. That should support the Q99s concept that Naruto, B, Itachi, and Nagato are all S+ or better ninja. They are just top-tier.

You can like Sasuke, Kisame, A or anybody. So long as Killer Bee is respected, you're A-okay.

He used his chakra claw to change direction in midair. He was still being pulled forward but he managed to get out of range of the move.

And yeah, that was like Spirit Bomb Rasengan.

I like how this chapter kept tabs on Itachi.

GREAT chapter! The best i've read in a long time. Exciting action from start to finish, and it advances the story too. I'm also extremely happy Bee finally started using Samehada.

One more thing. Naruto used a full Rasenshuriken without throwing it. Dumbass. Still worked in a way.

It is a lulzy way to end a chapter though. By far the most hilarious one I remember.

I know, which is why I think Itachi just did not give him an answer, or made up a good lie. Revenge on the Uchiha would have appealed more to Madara at the moment, than Itachi's motives.

Madara lying is definitely a possibility though.

Looked like a Rasenshuriken to me.

Also, he used his chakra claw to grab onto that rock Nagato was trying to hit him with, and then moved out of the way.

Nagato pulled him and a rock together, to smash them. Naruto stuck out a chakra hand and swung around the rock, crushing it in the process. And ending up on the other side. So he never stopped the technique, just kind of changed his course.

This seems like basically the fight I was hoping tsunade/raikage would be... a legitimate tag team where all characters participate and are on basically equal footing. In that one Raikage looked foolish and weak, and Tsunade didn't even fight.

This is way better. All four characters are contributing and get to show off their abilities. If this were the Itachi that fought Sasuke, I don't think he could keep up. But this one isn't sick, blind, or holding back. So there's no question he is one of the fastest ninja in the series. Kakashi couldn't keep up with Itachi at all, so its a great feat that Naruto seems to be doing perfectly fine and maybe even have the upper hand.

...Worst...cliffhanger....EVER!

Well, Bee beat an allegedly tired Sasuke. Who was still keeping up with him for a time. So Sasuke might just be a tad below him as far as taijutsu goes. I duno though.
It didn't look like a rasenshuriken to me.

It's epic. We get to find out what that frakin crow is meant to do. Unless Itachi was just checking up on it and then he puts it back. Then I'll torch an orphanage out of anger.

Eh, Madara likes to know motives. A random Uchiha walking up to him and offering his desires on a silver platter? I wouldn't buy into so quickly. I don't think Madara would either. He probably wouldn't trust him.

So it looks like Bee did a similar process, where he had a chakra-only form like Naruto. I would say this is complete proof that turning into a biju is a more complete mastery than what Naruto is doing.

To do an elaborate reply on this, I think most of the time people'd work on controlling more tails gradually, ala how Naruto was able to control 3 at the start of part 2, Bee's cousin only 2, etc..

With full-chakra mode coming later, and then finally full taming coming last.

Also, considering Yugito is *not* considered to have full mastery of her biju like Bee does, and the only thing between Naruto and Bee is the taming of the beast, I suspect what she's doing is more like Naruto going 4/5/etc. tails yet exerting control to direct it there, and does not have access to 100% of it's powers (hence why in 2-tail cat form she's still relatively small) rather than truly being able to fully use all of the biju's powers.

When she chained the kyuubi, it started snapping the chains immediately. So what if she does that to killerbee? OK, it would slow him down. She still can't beat him, she can't put him down, and he will snap them in short order.

? That didn't happen, Kyuubi never snapped the chains in the real world. It strained against them but Kushina fully held the 100% strength real Kyuubi without her chains breaking.

He was able to snap the chains in the mindscape, but that's also just a small fraction of her chakra, a finite amount left before.

She would have Bee restrained and be able to do attacks against him without him being able to respond.

And then she goes into tail-cloak mode or what have you and starts wailing.

Itachi's plan was always kinda dumb. "Get Sasuke strong enough to be a hero via hatred, then expect him to give up on hatred once the job's done."

Not to mention he mind raped him twice. The second time leaving him hospitalized for weeks. Seriously dude, I get it. You're putting on an act. But seriously, you could have pulled your punches a tiny bit. Poor Sasuke.

Everyone in the series is dumb. I just give Sasuke a hard time cuz he's moreso.

Except Shikamaru. He's too chill to be dumb.
