Well, Bee beat an allegedly tired Sasuke. Who was still keeping up with him for a time. So Sasuke might just be a tad below him as far as taijutsu goes. I duno though.

Right, and Sasuke is a good taijutsu fighter, as is Suigetsu. Itachi's fast enough to avoid Bee completely if he wants to, and keep Naruto from landing a blow.

Itachi was legendarily strong. Had he pulled punches too much (he did pull punches), it would have been far too obvious.

Well, a long time ago, someone theorizes that the Sharingan actually came from a demon and that's why the two sage brothers had different eyes.
That would go to explaining a lot in the series. Also, people all the time try and steal KGs and imbue them into their ninjas. For instance, that magnet ninja. That was a stolen KG. Eyes are a bit more obvious because they transplant the eyes.
