I know this already.
They are very different. So different that they should not be called "lava release". One should be lime release and the other lava release.
Whereas, with the magnet, it's easy to see why everything is "magnet".
Btw, Jinchuuriki biju control as I see it-
First stage- no control, biju chakra tapped into in life-and-death only, plus any automatic powers (like regen or elemental releases).
Naruto at the start of the series, kid Gaara.
Second stage- Tapping into chakra purposefully. The user can tap into the biju's chakra, but can't manifest tails save in life or death situations.
Naruto for most of part 1.
Third stage (with substages)- Tail control. The user can draw upon full tails worth of chakra, and form a biju cloak, transforming to a version of the biju's form as the tails increase or even allowing the biju's form to fully manifest, but there is a contest of control at any level, and the more drawn upon the harder the contest becomes. As the user progresses through stage three they will be able to handle more tails without losing control to the biju. At any level, the biju still exerts some control.
Gaara in the chunin exams was at this stage, going partially bestial at one-tails and surrendering control fully for a full transformation, Killerbee's Cousin could manage two while retaining control, while Naruto in part 2 was able to go up to three tails before losing control.
Yugito Nii was the furthest jinchuuriki we've seen in stage 3, able to express partial control over even a full biju manifestation (though as said manifestation appeared small for a biju, so it could've been a controlled transformative 2-tail cloak rather than a full manifestation).
Ginkaku and Kinkaku effectively had this level, being able to activate pseudo-6-tail cloak, but they had no biju to contest with.
Forth stage- Total chakra control. The user has overcome and contained the biju and can take any amount of their chakra at will. However, the biju no longer directly participates and the user no longer takes their on aspects of the biju when drawing upon power, whether they want to or not. The biju will absorb the user's chakra in return while this is happening, but the biju has no influence on the user beyond verbal.
Kyuubi-chakra mode Naruto, Mito.
Fifth stages- Complete mastery. The user has the biju completely tamed and can both access the biju's full chakra and transformation, and the biju will no longer try and eat their chakra either.
Killerbee, Yagura.
Civil War I guess. Itachi already knew that the elders intended to wipe out his clan. He'd probably warn them that assassination might come.
Or Danzou would make an offer to Madara for help, secretly give him Kyuubi, and allow him to go to town. He would then threaten to reveal Madara's existence to Hiruzen. Madara was obviously scared of him.vin

Hey, I was running with your theory of Madara lying about helping Itachi.

You know, I always had a hard time imagining Sasuke's EMS.This could work.
Or something like this. There's less of the black iris in this one, and it keeps Sasuke's 6 point design:
Damn, I really wish Kishi would give Sasuke a showcase of his new abilities like he is doing with Naruto. Though he'll probably just save it for the battle with Naruto.

Hey, Itachi could have asked for help and Madara could have said no. 😛
I know right? Actually I think Madara will probably give Sasuke a prep run first. I see him meeting up with Suigetsu and Jugo, who will meet up with Mangetsu and Kimimaro respectively.
I just realized that I like Suigetsu a lot. He is a great foil to Sasuke, if unintentional.

You're fickle, man. vin
That would be pretty kewl. I've always thought that Madara would use Sasuke to pwn Kabutomaru. Would be lulzy too.
Suigetsu's bawss. Puts Karin in her place too oftentimes.

If fickle is french for sexy, I'm wierded out. Yet strangely flattered.
I indeed would like to see that. Kabuto needs it for being such a poor ally.
So: Kagami Uchiha a candidate for Madara's true identity or no?

I was using its english meaning brah.
Agreed. Maybe even steal his snake techs while he's at it awesome
Would be an asspull, but this is Kishi.

I like the French meaning better.
Nah. If he has Orochimaru Kusanagi sword though, steal it.
Eh, why? It's not like there aren't hints that he isn't Madara.

Kay. I used the english meaning because it suits you much better.
He has the Sword of Totsuka though. Why would he need the Kusanagi? awesome
Meh. I don't think Madara is any of those of people. He's probably just the original Madara, but with a different body, plant/wood-type I guess.
Kushina I see as fairly far in level 3.

Hm, actually he might be at level 4. If the Juubi was tamed he wouldn't have had to split it up probably.
It might be that it's only possible to get to level 5 with the component biju.
