Thing is that it is though. To me anyway, rape occurs when control of what you do is taken from you. The act of rape in real life, i.e the sex part, is perfectly fine itself. It's the fact that one of the parties involved is being forced or forced upon that is the evil and horrific part. Now in the case of Itachi, I guess he wanted it so he wasn't raped. Though he probably would have preferred his original plan go through instead.

As far as I've understood the term, mind-rape was merely just the act of mind-****ing another person and inflicting mental trauma that would likely scar said person for a considerable amount of time.
But your definition would certainly classify Shisui's genjutsu as mind-rape.

I just read the chapter so I'm a little late but I do have one general question. Where the hell did Shisui get Mangekyo Sharingan come from? On top of that if Itachi thought enough to at least ponder that Sasuke would be a psycho-path then why the hell did he do nothing to keep Orochimaru away from him?
I also find it funny how Nagato can hand Hachibi chakra but not natural energy. Along with that why didn't he just absorb chakra from people in his own body so that he wouldn't be a crippled skeleton of his former self? Just wondering.

And I dunno. He certainly has a technique like it that enabled him to control Yagura. But it would cheapen things in my opinion. Sasuke himself needs to be making these decisions based on lies and lies alone. That'll make Naruto saving him all the more meaningful. But yeah, it is very possible.
