K. Cause it does. Just the same as "it does" in your version. No counter is required because the counter is the same thing you responded to. Your "counter" was so silly and absurd that it's not worth responding to with anything "serious."
In what way is a fully conscious mobile foe who's uninjured and willing to fight "taken out"? She had oil on her, this doesn't prevent her from using taijutsu, washing herself off (and they're in rain, there's water aplenty), or possibly even using many of her jutsu. For example, what is preventing her from using her water-chasm jutsu since it's external paper, not using her oil-covered body? At bare minimum, she had taijutsu and mobility, at maximum, she had half her paper jutsu.
Saying it's 'silly and absurd' doesn't make it such, you should realize. Not if you can't back up why it's so, and I don't think you can. At the very least, your post makes me think you can not, or you would've already done so.

Posting a smily without explanation means you aren't actually backing up a point, and if you don't back up your point when called on it, you might as well not have one. Why should anyone take a non-argument seriously, and if you don't actually state your argument for someone to read, how is anyone supposed to be convinced?
(This is a general point more-so than the Konan thing; It's just bad communication whatever the specific debate is)
TheAuraAngelThough I will say that Jiraiya won their little exchange. Though important things to remember: Konan was planning to just hold him off, even though Pain did say she could kill him. She was on her home turf so being reckless might not be a good thing. And Pain was showing up so she didn't really need to go all out.
Oh, definitely. At minimum, he pretty much cut her jutsu options in half with a single move. If they continued she's basically in a big tactical hole.
